Happy Moon Landing Anniversary!
Check it out: moon.google.com. Sweet~ Dude, I need to read Moon Shot again. Well, y'know, when I'm done with everything else I need to read... o.O;
Yes, I actually started Harry Potter. Only two chapters in, but hey, I cracked the spine. Go me!
*Finally* found the only pair of green scrubs at Goodwill yesterday for Kira (Stacie, thanks so much for offering, but thankfully I found a pair here!), along with a red shirt for him and a belt I think I can use for Ritsuka's tail. Had night lab, and actually got both labs done, so now my class is done with night labs and that's a really happy thing. ^_^ Aaron's class still has one more, but hopefully we'll get that out of the way next week. Still gotta help out at the observatory Thursday and Friday this week but hey, that's part of what they pay me for.
So this TA-ship in the fall, doing AST 3018, doesn't sound too bad. All I do is grade homework and have review sessions pretty much which, while the class is harder than the Astronomy Lab I teach, I still think will take less time overall. Plus they've upped the pay rate a bit for TAs, so I'm relatively happy, though still poor as dirt (I expected this, being a grad student and all).
In other news, yes a second alarm clock appears to be working well, though I don't know that the kitty is thrilled with it (this just means I get out of bed to hit it and then go back to sleep, but it has a snooze button so I can't just turn it off without some effort at least). And I really wonder if he's done with my bathroom. I mean, he's *not* quite done, but he hasn't been there for quite some time, so I hope he doesn't think he's done. >> I guess I should go see. Maybe tomorrow morning; gotta stop in the office about something else anyway.
Why do mosquitoes only bite my legs? I mean, there are no bites on my arms at all. Just my legs. Which is weird. And there's one on my heel and I don't know how it got there but it itches every time I walk. >
