ZOMG He's not a robot set on "ANGST"

Well folks, the polls are in. Shinn is officially human!
So I finally watched 20 and 21 this evening. And it does appear that Shinn is not a 100% completely whiny bitch - the number has been reduced to 90% whiny bitch, 10% human. ^^; Uh, go Shinn. I had been kind of curious/dreading how they were gonna do this but even though I still think Stellar is less intelligent than someone who's had a frontal lobotomy with an icepick, Shinn really *did* need someone to protect. Someone to actually care about. And though I don't know WHY on Earth he chose Stellar, at least he found someone. Blue-haired boy is jealous. XD (I can remember Stellar, and Sting, and Neo, and then there's Blue-haired boy whose name I can't remember, even though he's probably the cuter of the two. Though he'll never beat my cute orange-banged mechanic kid! Whose name has probably never even *been* mentioned...)
In other news, Mia is... sketchy. Who decided to make life as uncomfortable as possible for poor Athrun? His name is *not* Kaidoh, thankyouverymuch. Mia really needs to get a clue... Or Athrun could just tell people about the fact that his father dissolved his and Lacus' betrothal way back when. And what's with Mia's spray-painted MS - couldn't they be using that for the war effort or something? Obviously supplies are low, because they can't afford to spare the cloth to make her a whole outfit. <<;
And have I mentioned the Chairman creeps the living hell outta me? ><** Someone ought to realize he's just way too gleeful when he's talking about war for profit and all that goodness.
Right. Worked on Heihachi today, and made some pretty good progress. Put the eyelets in his shower curtain/sail thing, and got a decent part of his vest of DOOM made. It will still be interesting to see how it turns out, but it's mostly vest-shaped by now, so I have hope. ^^; It's that HAT that scares the living daylights outta me now. I'm going to... make a test hat first. On scrap fabric. Yeah.
Almost done with my book (3/4 of the way through), which is good because I will have to spend the entire week up until Thursday studying for the evil ISM test I have. Tomorrow morning the fact that I *have* said test will hit and I will freak; up until now I've been living in blissful procrastination-induced ignorance.
Um... oh! I went to the Rosemary Hill Observatory open house last night, which was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I drove up with Leah and back with Eric and his friend (whose name I know but don't dare spell for fear of killing it). Let's see... We used the 17" to look at Saturn and Jupiter (all four moons were on the same side - pretty neat!) and the 30" to look at the Orion and Crab Nebulae. I've never seen the Crab, and though it wasn't very high resolution, it was still *really* cool. The rest of the evening was filled with stargazing, actual joy over being able to see the Milky Way, lots of nerdy jokes ("Hey who's got a stopwatch? We can have Dave get back up there and time the pulsar. And if we wait long enough, we can even watch it slow down!") and the wonders of what bad seeing does to Arcturus ("It's a star!" "No, that's a plane." "Hey, it hasn't moved... it really *is* a star!")
Uhm.... and that's it. The weather's nice (high 70s!) and I'm tired, so I should start heading in the bed-ish direction. I can get a couple more chapters read before then if I hurry! ^^;
