Uh, yeah... I'm alive...
Dec. 27th, 2004 04:32 pmFeeling a little better today; could be the result of extended DBZ Budokai 3 playing, not sure. ^^; Funny thing is, Gohan is so short that if I stand next to Frieza while he's doing his death ray, it goes right over my head. XD Oh yeah. Other than that, been watching Jennie play Prince of Persia: Warrior Within all day except for the 45 minutes I spent at the dentist's for a checkup. Woo.
Working backwards, I guess, Amanda and Chris stopped by yesterday and it was really good to see them. (I hadn't seen them in just about a year!) They stayed for a while, decided they wanted to hijack our house, and we had some food before they left. ^^;
Christmas was okay - better than expected, really, so that's all I could ask for. We got started a bit later than usual but my dad and I still had time to watch two DVDs' worth of Last Exile. (Me: All right! We're more than halfway done now! Dad: How many episodes *are* there?!) But I got some neat things that I wanted, and my dad even got me that DVD burner that I've wanted for Zero System!! I'm so excited - when I get back to FL I'm going to have to perform surgery on my compu. o.O; And Jennie got me Smash Hit 1, but I can't play it until I get back either, so as indicated above I've been playing Budokai 3, which is a totally awesome game. Eric even "conveniently completely by accident" brought over another controller so we got to battle each other last night (and you can be Yamcha - Jennie's happy ^_^).
Christmas eve was a little crazy; my grandmother (Gramma Ginny, my mother's mother) fell on Monday last week and broke her hip. o.o She was in the hospital until Christmas eve so we went up to see her settled into a rehab facility near where they live so she can start getting better. We went out to lunch with Grandpa Jim and Uncle Tim and then visited Gramma, but didn't stay too long because she was pretty tired. And we got to bring a kitten with us - the little one from Pika's litter of two hadn't been eating properly, so we brought him along in a handbag (he was a week old) to feed him every two hours. Great fun, carrying a tiny mewing (and really mobile) kitten everywhere...
Right. So aside from much craziness, it's relatively okay here, or at least as okay as it ever gets. And I get to come back to FL on Friday. I think my mom wants to buy me some new pants before then, so I suppose I shouldn't argue, depending on what kind of pants she wants to buy me. >>; And hopefully tonight Jennie and I will get to go to JoAnn's; I'm not really planning on buying much, but I'd like to look around while I consider what to work on next. It really, really ought to be Heihachi, and then I want to do Kira and someone please convince me *not* to dye my hair black again and be Shinn instead. <<; Because for some unknown reason I really want to make a ZAFT uniform, and I have no idea why. ::shakes head::
Uh... and that's really about it.

Date: 2004-12-27 10:54 pm (UTC)FYI.
I did not buy fabric for a ZAFT uniform today.
It was not on sale.
Really, it wasn't. And I didn't. Promise. >>;
Cat-in-bag = cute.
(If you decide to get one of those patches I'm going to need one too.)

Date: 2004-12-28 06:15 am (UTC)Glad to see you're around, too! I've been checking your journal, but it kind of makes it obvious that I have no idea what *really* goes on in your life. :O I hope things are going well for you and that you have a good New Years! Next time I see you on IM I'll have to poke you and maybe start to catch up on things!

Date: 2005-01-01 08:38 am (UTC)Yeah, I'm thinking a wig might work... Shinn wears a hat early on in the show, maybe I could do that... It will at least be a very good long while before I would do it, anyway.
