My Life is Three Seasons Behind

ad_exiaBut hey! I'm watching Gundam SEED. Finally. Go me. ^^;;
Actually, I'm mostly doing work, as I have two papers and three talks due very, very soon. Here's the breakdown (even if no one cares):
- Monday, Nov. 29: Journal Club Presentation
- Tuesday, Nov. 30: Spectroscopy Paper Due
- Friday, Dec. 3: IMBH Class Presentation
- Wednesday, Dec. 8: Spectroscopy Presentation
Yayfun. -_-; Ah well; I've got the first draft of the spectroscopy paper done and I actually think I understand at least significant portions of it. I'm working on the Journal Club presentation now.; thankfully it's not graded and barely any professors ever come, and it's about Europa (no one in the Department really does planetary stuff) so I don't think it'll be too bad. It's just another thing I have to do, aside from also grading and preparing the last lecture for my lab.
In non-school news... Enki's almost done! I made his pants and his belt and headwrap Thanksgiving night, so now I just need to make his necklace and find some shoes and that's it. ^^ Next up is... I don't know. Tetsu or Heihachi... and it really *should* be Heihachi because he's going to take a while. Not to mention that yes, I do want to be Kira all over again, now that I'm back to actually watching SEED this time around. We're thinking that if I do his civilian outfit I can mostly get around the fact that I'm not really... Kira-shaped. ^^;;
Hm... not too much else. Thanksgiving was okay; Jen and Brandon came over and we made real food, which was exciting. Tried to watch Prisoner of Azkaban, but neither of them was really paying attention and I can't really watch movies when the people around me aren't. So they left and I worked on Enki and watched All Grown Up (I still love that show, I think it's neat). So... yep, that's it. Been trying to get all this work done and do some cleaning and chores and sewing and lots of non-exciting stuff, but I'm definitely enjoying the fact that it's only Saturday. Whee. ^^ And now I'm off to try to resist the pull of more Gundam in an attempt to write my Journal Club presentation and possibly try to revise my spectroscopy paper.
