Loki-tama! And the weekend report.
Nov. 1st, 2004 02:05 pmSo I've been reading the Loki manga over my lunch break... and I think it's supposed to come *after* the anime? o.O; I can't tell... there's absolutely NO introduction of characters, they just show up, and make lots of references to "before." But it was written in 2002, and then anime came out in 2003... So confused. @.@; In any case, it's pretty. ^_^ Whee. Good thing I've already got a Loki costume done or I'd be going on about how I want to cosplay him.
Speaking of, I now also want to cosplay the kid from Tactics (Kantarou?) and Takkun, because although I'd kind of always wanted to be Takkun, watching FLCL over the weekend made me want to do it more. So yeah, I finally got around to watching FLCL. Yay. ^^; Dude, it was really really good! I liked the animation, and the story, despite being spastically told, was quite intelligible. Other than that... watched the rest of Buffy Season 2, the first ep of Angelique (OMG TOO MANY BOYS THAT LOOK LIKE GIRLS @.@), Bleach 4, and Tactics 2. This was in between trying to read scientific papers in which people can't seem to make up their minds about the masses of intermediate mass black holes. Sheesh.
Sunday was mostly a hanging-out day. I got lunch and went to the mall with Anthony 'cause I needed to price sewing machines, then Jen got home so we went over to her place and played lots of Smash Hit 2. Rahr, I couldn't beat Tezuka (not surprising, I guess, but Kaidoh and Inui and Yuuta failed me! ;_;) but there were some good games, and Yuuta ALMOST won... I think... Then we got dinner and watched Rocky Horror Picture Show (was there ever a movie that made less sense? I'm thinking not...) and just kind of hung out and ignored work. And then I accidentally turned off my alarm today and slept in until 10:30 (I was going to get up at 9:30). But I got my grading done, so after class this afternoon I think it's back to finishing up the answers for the pset that got pushed back to being due tomorrow (which I obviously ignored all weekend).
Heh, no night lab tomorrow. Guess the polls are more important. >>; And that's it for my boring life.
