Uh... Update!
Oct. 18th, 2004 01:39 pmWow, look at that. I'm updating. o.o I even did real people things this weekend:
Saturday I cleaned and vacuumed, did my laundry, exciting stuff like that. Jen and I watched Tactics, which is FINALLY being subbed. Yeah, it's totally Yami meets Tokyo Babylon - bishounen and supernatural goings-on. Good stuff. ^^;; I still think I like Bleach better at the moment, but that's probably because I'm definitely more into supernatural ass-kicking than supernatural pretty boys most of the time. Oh, and I went to the UF Library Booksale - GOOD STUFF. XD Like, most books under $2 so I got Timeline and Memoirs of a Geisha (squee!) for $2.25 total. I must go back sometime this week - I think the sale's on until Wednesday. They had most of the rest of the Dune books, and I didn't check out nearly all of their fiction or mythology or classics or.... Yeah.
Sunday I went to Valerie's show (You're a Good Man Charlie Brown) in High Springs with Leah and Eric. Good fun - it was a cute show, and a musical to boot. Gotta love musicals, especially with a Snoopy with a really good voice. o.o; Hm... I'm not sure I did much else, though. Just kind of hung out, read some more of Faerie Wars. I'm almost done with it, meaning I better get over to Borders and get the next book, because it ends in a big fat TO BE CONTINUED...
Took Jen to get her car this morning! So now she has a working car and all is well. ^_^
Looks like this coming week won't be too bad - no Compact Objects class at all this week because Steve's out of town, though he is supposed to post homework at some point. The lab's no big deal - looking at a solar spectrum, basically, and on a video monitor no less >> - but I do still have to finish writing the lecture and grading for the Thursday class; I just finished all the grading for the Tuesday class this morning. This weekend is the departmental picnic and a possible cosplay party with Jen and Anthony. Since I'm probably not doing anything for Halloween I'm going to pass by Robin for the moment and start working on Heihachi provided I have money to get some fabric. I should start going over what I'll need - always fun. ^^; And I've got to find a bokuto or something.
And as for random fangirling for this post (aside from the Bleach/Tactics stuff): First off, the PoT manga is ocassionaly sketchy: first Ryoma's telling Kaidoh to take off his shirt, then he's saying sketchy things to Inui. Yay. >>; Secondly, Oshitari's new song is SKET-CHY. o.O Look at the translated lyrics and *tell* me that's not... uh... something. Go Gakuto. I think.
Fun thing for the week: Since everyone calls Ichigo in Bleach "Ichi", this makes his sisters call him "Ichi-nii". If they're being polite, that makes him "Ichi-nii-san". Is that cute or what? ^^;
Right. I was going to make new icons... >>;

Date: 2004-10-18 11:00 am (UTC)-Not doing anything for Halloween?! If you want, I know of a few places I might be hanging out in costume for the sacred day of cosplayers everywhere, you are more than welcome to come. (apparently this year they are going to have 2 pinatas)
-Where is the booksale? Not that I need to spend any more money right now, but books that cheap you can't really pass up, now can you...
