ad_exiaThere's really not much new with me. Going through the week, same as any other. I actually get homework in my classes this week, but hopefully it won't be too bad. Lab is going pretty well, aside from the fact that I'm not adhering to the very strict rules 100% and I'm not sure the lab director cares for that. >>;
The weather's been less than perfect but it looks like Ivan is completely *not* going to hit us, so who am I to complain? Though I'm thinking this riding the bus thing to school perhaps has some merit, as I won't arrive every morning hot and sweaty and gross and have to assure people that yes, I do shower.
Oh, and there are massive amounts of wet laundry hanging up to dry in my apartment right now. Yay for the dryers not working. It was a long, long day yesterday.
There's a lot of heavy stuff going down, and I can only hope that my friends who are having a hard time (and that's an understatement) can get through it and see the other side as soon as possible. I want them to be happy.

Sticking to the rules perfectly sucks - I know how annoying it is, even though I can be a bit of a stickler sometimes myself. At my new store, they are uptight about some VERY stupid things... like using shot glasses when we have automatic espresso machines so the shots are pretty much always the same. But it's a bit like a game to follow all the rules.
I hope your dryer gets working.
