It's like a snow day but for a hurricane...

Well, they've canceled classes tomorrow. That's... okay, really, since I had a two-hour lecture at 3. I still have to come in around 11 and perform next week's lab experiment and (hopefully!) pick up my paycheck if the office is open, but I can leave after that. ^_^; I'm all stocked up on food and water and cat things and all that goodness, so if I get stuck inside all weekend I think I'll be able to survive.

Uh... other than that, not much going on. Taught again today, and I definitely like the 8:30am class better despite the fact that it's at, well, 8:30am. =_=; Ah well, it usually gets done early (so far) meaning I can go get coffee immediately afterwards. And I just realized that the building across from us is a food court, so yay for that. Now if only I had more money for food... Or costumes, because I want to start on Robin soon, maybe tonight. I mean, I do have some stuff and could start his cape and/or boots, but I still need a few more things (green leggings, gloves, and a red shirt, not to mention stuff to make that mask out of o.O). Also want to begin work on the "secret project" that I found happy happy fabric for at JoAnn's and finally bought because it was half off. Note to self: sign up for JoAnn's mailing list because they have some good coupons sometimes!

Yep yep, that's really it. All's great and stupid in the land of En. ~_^ Mada mada rizumu ni noruze yo~!

Are you kidding? No one gets hurt in snow days, and I mean, come on, its SNOW! You can play in it, you can play with it, you can do all sorts of crazy fun stuff with snow. Plus it looks cool. Last I checked, it was a bad idea to play in a hurricane...

I dunno, when I took my hurricane class last year the professor had some really cool-looking pictures of flying through the storms...

But you're right. Obviously there's significantly less fun involved in a hurricane day. So long as I can get my paycheck tomorrow, though, I won't complain.

I hate snow too, but snow at least doesn't come with 180mph winds to accompany it, I suppose. ^^;;

Let it be known that going out in a hurricane with an umbrella is a bad idea--take it from my elementary school self ^^;; Ha ha... Other than that, you should be fine if it isn't passing too close. But do stay inside, the news said it'd be a doozy ^^;;
