Tennis + Radio = ?
Aug. 30th, 2004 01:35 pmAfter reviewing the three newest Seigaku singles, Jen and I have realized something: all three of them involve the radio - namely, they all seem to be in love with the DJ, or at least rather taken with them. o.O Hm... wonder who that DJ is...
Anyway. In other news... I get paid on Friday! It's a bi-weekly check, so I only get paid just enough to cover my student fees but hey, that's better than nothing. Still on the lookout for a job, and hopefully tomorrow I'll turn in some more apps and resumes. I need to update mine to say I graduated last year and all, but other than that it's ready to go. So hopefully the job prospects will look better soon. ^^;
Really, not too much else going on. I get to teach my first *lab* lab tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes. I'm just about done with the presentation so all that's left to do is go through the results I got for the lab and make sure they make sense.
The weekend went okay; I had to go to a department symposium on which grad students are researching what - basically a whole bunch of talks on thesis topic things, most of which are star formation. But some are on other cool things, like compact objects or asteroids, which will probably be more where I'm heading, as star formation doesn't quite *thrill* me or anything. That's at least another year and a half away, though, so I've got some time. This week starts the series of talks by professors for the benefit of the first-years, so that we know who's doing what kind of research, so that should be helpful.
Okay... really, that's about it. Time to go and look productive again. Maybe. ^^;
