I'm not dead... really...

Right. So there's a Jen passed out on my futon, so I figure I'll take this time for a quick update. Metrocon was fun, pictures shall ensue shortly. I just have to make them smaller, but they're on my laptop right now and it's not on and I'm too lazy to turn it on. Yeah... I didn't take too many pictures; mostly ninjas and tennis players. I will write a real report soon, seeing as I owe one to Steph for the newsletter by the 18th. And the ACen report, and I have to watch the end of RahXephon and the movie... but yes, Steph, I will send you articles soon! Promise!

... Wow, I have to get a flight home soon, too, or it's gonna be expensive. I'll poke around for those later. Basically, I have lots of random stuff to do. Yay. ^^;; BUT! I went to the bookstore yesterday and they had Prince of Tennis 2 and RahXephon 2 on display for me to buy after I spent all weekend looking with no luck. So YAY for that. They also had Tombs of Atuan, which NO ONE has seemed to have, so I snatched that up too in a fit of book-induced glee. Other than that... it's hot, nothing new, and I need to go running because I haven't really been lately.

Oh, and by the way... the new Ryoma album? Two disks of RAWK. XD XD XD OMG it's awesome. Highlights include an awesome song in English and Kikumaru-sempai making Ryoma sing Tonde Mawatte Mata Raisyuu. Poor Ryoma-kun was SO not happy about that. >>;

Uh... sorry about the half-fangirly, half-insane post. I'll make a real, readable one later. With pictures. Promise!

Yay! I'm still working on Tales from Earthsea because I've had my friend over here most of the time and haven't been able to just sit down and read. >< But I'm glad The Other Wind was good - I hope to be reading it really soon!!

I liked it a lot. It cleared up one of my biggest issues with the book - the "dry land." What a miserable eternity of an afterlife! This explains it, which is very cool.
