ad_exiaWell, I slept for... ::thinks:: three hours, maybe four. Tried going to bed at a decent hour (being 2:30ish) last night, probably didn't fall asleep for an hour, and woke up too awake to sleep anymore at 6:30 this morning. ::shrug:: Guess that's what I get for having slept until 6 the day before (the UPS guy woke me up, knocking with my Last Exile wallscroll). Oh well, so I watched three more eps of Loki since there's no more Juuni Kokki. ::cries:: It's SO good (well, both are, 'cause Loki is cute and hot all at the same time o.O), and the last arc of JK was completely awesome, which I am probably only saying because it involved lots and lots of Enki. ^^; Ah well, it was still awesome. But that CAN'T be it, really it can't! What about Taiki?! Grar, I want to be able to read the novels; I wonder if those are any farther along. Maybe not, but I know that the translation of them isn't too far (somewhere in the first or second arc, I think), so that's not much help. Ah well, I should keep watching Loki. Yamino-kun rocked. Dude, Jen, if we do Loki cosplay we need to make Ecchan or whatever the heck his name is. Can't be that hard... I'll let it sit on my head. >>;
Other than that, not much new. Like I said, ran out of Juuni Kokki so I've been watching random stuff, including but probably not limited to Titan AE, the Sailor Moon movies, and the first episode of the SM live action. And the other day I started decorating, so that's been under way. The main room is done except for any pencilboards/clearfiles I want up, and now I just have to do my room, in which I think I have room for the massive Balmung poster (STILL sad it's not Kite!!) and that Loki poster from the random Animage that I picked up and only realized was a Loki poster massively after the fact when I paged through it a while back and realized the pink-haired girl in the fourth of it I could see was Mayura. And I *did* have a cute Gundam SEED poster from a random Japanese Newtype I'd picked up, so that went up too. ^^
That's it; absolutely nothing new here. Either way too much sleep or too little, but maybe someday it'll even out.

I went to the grocery store, which was having a massive sale on granola bars (yay!), the shoe store (where I discovered that small feet are good because kids' New Balance shoes are $15 cheaper than adults'), and the bookstore (which I am actually pretty disappointed with, as Barnes & Noble somehow just isn't as good as Borders). So I couldn't get the Norse mythology book I wanted... you don't, by any random chance, know of a good Norse mythology reference book to get, do you? I want one, as the only one I have is for Greek/Roman only, and I want to learn the Norse myths as well. There's a Borders in town, but it's far from where I live and would be quite a trek on my bike, though I suppose I'm not too averse to that.
Um... right. That's the non-anime stuff. I got to play with my DVD burner and am currently hoping that the UPS guy comes soon because I want to go running in my new shoes! UPS doesn't come until something like 6 or 7 here, which is okay, just very late!!
Is that better? I'll try to keep it to non-completely-dense anime terms so you can read things! There will probably be some fangirling thrown in, but I'll be sure to include real things!!

Date: 2004-06-28 11:18 am (UTC)Right now, been in L.A. area for all of ten days or so, desperately need a full-time job before I go broke, have way too much college loan to pay off, live too far away from where I'm interning and don't own a car, don't have internet in my apartment except on roommate's crappy computer until he gets a wireless network set up, going to be doing nothing but working for the next six months... but I got the internship at Bang Zoom. So, decent enough.
