Right. Uhm... I hate being a girl? One would think that the thing that needs to happen in order to make me non-angsty would just HAPPEN already so I could get over being angsty. But noooo... ><** Right, so I spent most of my trip home being all "grahr" and that was probably not the most useful way to spend my time.

Thanks go to Stacie for inviting me over to watch the LOTR:TT extended edition, though. That made me feel better, though I think Jason might have regretted letting her invite me over. ^^; Oh, and thanks to Jen for her Thanksgiving message. Hee~ Claus got REAL food, he was a very happy boy. Now he can eat my fruit cups for a week or two before he has to go back to ramen. -_-;; And when Dio comes back, I have cookies and pumpkin pie for him, but I suppose I shouldn't mention this so Jen can keep him under control.

Uh... right. So home was okay, despite the fact that I wanted to do something horrible the entire time. And the fact that I no longer seem to be able to type. But I did come into work today planning to finish up my stromatolite paper, only to find that the baka computer here won't read ONLY that directory from my CD. o.O Eh? Oh well, I finished my EM paper instead, which probably sucks but I just don't care enough. I also have to deal with applying to UCLA SOON because it's due in like two weeks. AH! ::panics::

Right, so let's see... Ummul got a phone call at 6:40 this morning. When will the madness end?! At least she got up and left relatively soon after that so I slept uninterrupted until 11:30. Started and finished A Wind in the Door yesterday, only now I can't remember if that or A Wrinkle in Time came first. Huh. Well, I'm gonna read that next, and I know enough about the Murrays and Calvin that I don't think it matters. Oh, and as I mentioned (vaguely) last time, Memoirs of a Geisha was REALLY good. I highly recommend it. It was beautifully written, really it was. I have the memoirs of Iwasaki Mineko that April gave me that I have to read next, after the L'Engle stuff.

Oh, and right, I probably never mentioned, but I got a digital camera. Yay. Much fun will ensue. Perhaps involving the Ryoma plushie Jennie gave me for my bday. Oh, and I have to take out the time to decorate for Christmas, and dig out the Christmas music. Still trying to decide if I want to go running or not when I get back.

Uh... right. I should be working on something, even if it's only my review of Kai Doh Maru or something. Which will consist of "WTF? o.O"

the book fiasco

HOW CAN YOU FORGET, A wrinkle in time comes first, i mean really u can always look in the beginning of the book where it gies you other books by that author and they ARE listed in order of "series order" i guess if that makes sense, so BAH

Well, see, by the time I got around to reading A Wind in the Door many, many years ago, it was the last one I'd read. And I've read almost all of them so many times over that I don't really remember the order, it gets all jumbly. I just remember that A Swiftly Tilting Planet is supposed to be the last one... I think ^^;; Hm. I don't own that one. I should fix that problem.
