Oct. 27th, 2003 09:21 amWHY is "fall" in the Northeast always synonymous with "rain"?! Gr. At least it's mostly warm outside, even if it is rather nippy in the Aero library. But it's pouring, yay, that really makes me want to go out and do *anything*.... ><;;
Uh... as for my weekend, did practically no work whatsoever (mwahaha) but I don't think I'll be *too* screwed for this week. Quiz (on who the hell knows what) and writing assignment due tomorrow, geosystems lab due Friday, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something else but I can't think of it right now. Well, and making my Seigaku jacket, which is coming along, so we'll see. As soon as I get the back stenciled in, that should help a lot. Plus I've got an office hour tonight so that means an hour with the sewing machine.
Party at April's was a ton of fun: we made cookies (and decorated them later) and played LOTS of DDR - we unlocked Candy, which meant that for the next 45 minutes or so, *everyone* was doing that song over and over and over again. We even got Shannon to DDR, though we feared a bit for the bookcases. Dave had brought over some Gamecube stuff, so we played Super Monkey Ball o.O and Soul Caliber II, at which I can kick ass with Kilik and *only* Kilik. ^^;;
Sunday was work, yay, but then Steph and I ran to Porter and Harvard to get prizes for the cosplay contest. Then D&D, which was fun. Kai hacked some guy's arm clear off. Oops... ^^;; We finally leveled up (yay!) and spent the rest of a relatively short evening figuring out what that got us. Then I came home and gushed about Claus for a good two hours (yes, dork, right here, look, I'm a dork) and went to bed.
So. Exciting life I live. ><;; MUST decide this GRE business soon - I either have to call and cancel, or call and tell them I haven't gotten my ticket yet, and either way that really needs to happen by the end of the week. Ahhhhhhhhhhh.... I'll talk to Rick tomorrow, I guess, and maybe my dad. He might know what to do.
Rachel-san, I got your postcard! Thank you! It even arrived before you got home! That never seems to happen when *I* send out postcards. ^^;
