ad_exiaNo luck with the PoT shirt in Japan, though I thank Rachel VERY much for looking! And she says when she goes back at the end of the month she'll look again; maybe by then I'll have accrued some good karma or something. ^^;; Why is it so hard to get a Seigaku shirt?! I guess this is at least somewhat good, though, since that means that I'll wear the shirt I made for Halloween, and that means that at least I didn't make Ryoma's red and white shirt for nothing. ^^;; Though I'm still of half a mind to be Anna for Halloween, 'cause it fits a little better with the whole Halloween theme... Help me decide!!!
Anyway. Spent yesterday working on 12.515 with April - we got an extension on the pset (YAY!) so we just did the presentation that I have to give tomorrow. I still don't think I understand what's going on, but oh well. Hopefully no one will ask any questions... Shannon's mother stopped by, thought I was a ten year-old kid from the back. Whee. ^^ Talked with Jen and Mike and Rachel for a few hours online; Jen sent me LOTS of happy Claus pictures. Makes my ability to think disappear. He's SO cute! Wai! ^^;;;; I want to work on my Claus costume NOW, but I can't until Jen sends me the jumpsuit.
Geosystems this morning was like, "Welcome back to chemistry," which was scary, but I think I recognized how to do most of the stuff he was talking about. THEN he decided we'd have class this afternoon.... O.o But we don't have anything scheduled for Wednesday afternoons! Argh. It just *happens* to be during my hour break from work, so I guess I have to go. Gr. At least this means that I won't miss anything on Friday, since this is taking the place of Friday's lecture. But still...
Finished Storm Breaking, it was really good. I want more books AFTER that; I guess the Owl books take place after the Mage Storms, 'cause that's where I first saw Firesong and he'd already been scarred, but I didn't know what was up with that at the time. Maybe I'll grab the first Owl book to read again when I go home for Thanksgiving, that one was good. I figure now I'll start Timeline, to make my mother happy. ^^;; And I don't have the Gryphon books yet, so I need something to read! I'm gonna try the used bookstore in Harvard Sq. before I go buy those new, 'cause I'm so poor. ::sighs:: I SWEAR I haven't spent a lot of money on *stuff*, it's all gone to apartment expenses over the summer, and food, and necessities, and wedding gifts/preparations/stuff, so that's why I'm poor, but now I WANT stuff and I have no money! ::cries::
I'm *almost* not sick anymore! ><;; But our room is still FREEZING. And there's a fire drill tonight. Maybe I'll conveniently not be home then. Heh.
