I think April got me sick... @_@ Of course, she was only sick for a day, so I'd better be un-sick by tomorrow. ::sniffles::
Anyway... Went to the Toshio Okada lecture last night, it was pretty cool, except for the initial translating, because Okada-sensei was speaking in Japanese and there were only students translating at first, and they were either scared of being up there and translating, or not as good at Japanese as they thought. But it worked out, and the lecture was interesting, so that was cool. Came home and watched X-men: Evo instead of PoT (some people would be proud), and I THINK Sam got a cameo!! Like, there were a bunch of people from the New Mutants/X-Force (as "new recruits"): I saw Sunspot, Tabitha, and... Rahne, is it? The wolf-girl, who I *think* is Rahne (or some spelling of that name), which would be particularly ironic, given "Wolf's Rain." Or maybe that's just me. ^^;; Anyway, I think Sam was there, 'cause there was this kid that blasted into a wall. Hehe. Then, since I'd already finished most of my homework, I just went to bed, since by that point I had begun not feeling well.
Went in this morning for my office hour, only to find Rick in there remote observing - I'd forgotten he was using one of the Moana Kea telescopes today and tomorrow, so I got to help! I moved a telescope in Hawaii! Whee! Anyway, I mostly watched and even helped some students, and then went to class (yay). Gave my little three-transparency schpiel about differentiating between dead comets and plain old asteroids. Worked on the Geosystems lab with April and Ryan (apparently BOTH of whom think they should hook me up with Josh @_@;;) and now I am filling in for two hours at work because I am poor. And I've got to order April's wedding present tonight, which will make me *more* poor. But that's okay, that's important. ^^;; But I also have to pay for my TechCash, which is $300, so that also makes me poor... Yes. I am poor.
So that's my exciting life. Whee. Now I've got some miteiru! stuff to do, so I shall go now and attempt to be productive. Ja ne!
