ad_exiaWell! One of the more interesting phone calls in my life:
Jen called this afternoon, saying, "I'm looking through doujishi, which was the Prince of Tennis pairing you liked?" Hee~ No RyoKai (figured) but she scored me a nice fluffy Golden Pair doujin ("Uh... kid with red flippy hair and a band-aid on his face, 'nother kid with black hair and funny bangs, yeah, that's them...") and found herself a With. AND she doesn't have a camera, and can't take a picture of her in THAT costume, but she'd better find someone who can...
Went to the Galleria, scored some good stuff, including blank CD-Rs, X: Seven, new pantsu (yay!) and a fun shirt (eheh... no, it doesn't have Yugi on it, no I didn't have a conversation with the cashier about YGO! and CCS), and a happy adapter for my DDR pad so now I can plug it into my compu. ::grins:: NOW I just have to work up the guts to explain to my roommate why I'm bouncing around on a brightly-colored pad in the middle of the floor... ^^;; Actually, I'm trying to clean off my hard drive before I install DWI, so that'll take a while. Plus I found out that most of my D.N. Angel eps don't work for some reason... gr, means I have to fix them with VirtualDub before I can burn them. Gr. At least I know my Naruto works.
Saw Newype's Oct. issue, but was too poor to buy it. Plus it was in plastic so I couldn't look inside... but hopefully the Anime Club will get its copy soon...
Went to April's and worked on Data & Models, we're almost done, YAY! Met Steph and Andy in the Infinite on the way home; we may D&D and DDR tomorrow (heh) depending on whether or not we can finish this pset. Hope we can! Also ranted a bit, because...
OhmiGod, Chinese people do NOT have British accents! They do NOT call people "chap" and they most certainly do NOT mispronounce "Bason"... I'm going to cry. Poor, poor Tao Ren.
