The promised update
Sep. 25th, 2003 08:59 pmFor those who care. ^^;;
Had my second ever office hour, Evelyn showed up but I could ANSWER her question and so that made me happy. ^^ April stopped by and we worked on the Geosys lab... kind of. Then Data & Models, which was statistics stuff we already knew, then the Communications class, and I'm supposed to have a topic to talk about on Tuesday, and I hope I can come up with one with Rick tomorrow, because that's *awfully* short notice to want a thesis topic by... O.o;;
April and I went to the career fair, and felt mostly... well, useless. All these corporations (that we don't really want to work for in the first place) want computer and engineering people, and we can't do any of that. NASA was rather... well, the lady handed us an info packet and told us to look online. Sheesh! :P Stupid NASA, thanks a lot. APL was really nice, though - they talked to us and gave us stuff, and they were kids like us and they weren't dressed in scary suits and I like them. Maybe I'll apply there.
'Course... this makes me rethink a lot of stuff, most of which I don't really feel like writing down right now. Basically, growing up is the LAST thing on my list of things to do.
Went back to April's, after stopping in Porter because I got a call yesterday that said that my Naruto book had FINALLY come in to Sasuga! YAY! So now I have my nifty guide to EVERYTHING Ninja (did I mention it was the guide to *everything*?!) and there will be scans eventually. There's a cool pic of Ino I must scan for certain Ino cosplayers. ;)
Um... yeah, so the D&M program didn't work - and THEY wrote it for us this time - so we emailed the people in charge and took that as a sign not to do any more homework, so I came home. And here I am, yay, and I should do something productive because whenever I'm NOT home, I can think of a million things I should do, but when I actually GET here I can't think of a thing to do. So it goes.
