Update (whoo, original title!)

ad_exiaSchool is FREEEEEEE! I'm excited and worried all at the same time: Rick offered me a TA position for 12.421, which is awesome because that pays for the half of my tuition that the fellowship *doesn't* pay for, so this year is essentially free of tuition. That is good. That is very, very good. However, this obviously means that I have to *be* a TA, and that means I'm supposed to *know* things about remote sensing, and while I think I got an A in the class, I am still slightly worried. Time to dig out the 12.421 bible! O.o AND I have lots of things already this semester; Rick said this'd only be about 5 hours a week or so, which is already less than I ever put in for, say, crew, so I think I'll be okay. I can hope. ^^;;
In other news, I am cutting my hair. Goshdarnit, it is driving me absitively crazy and I want short hair. Spent a bit this afternoon searching for hairstyles, but of course most of them are for straight hair. :P Stupid people with straight hair (erm... don't mean to offend probably 100% of the people who read this...). I found a few, though, and I'm not going REALLY really short, just *short* and not all one length, and Mom seems to approve so that's even better. Maybe I can go somewhere tomorrow... Eheh. ^^;; I obsess over my hair, really I do, mostly because I hate it. I mean, really, it's awfully dry on the bottom from being bleached, and I really only do just pull it up, which looks blah at best, so therefore, it's going away. Yepu.
On a side note, I'm actively proving my nerdiness by wearing Ryoma's wristband today. Got it made yesterday after about 45 minutes of pulling out embroidery on the thing, so I'm proud of it, even if acrylic paint doesn't like to stretch. ^^;; Shoulda known, but it looks fine. I'd wear my happy Fila hat but it's mostly raining today (thank you, Isabel) so I don't want it to get soaked. And I really do think my Ash hat is just gone. ::cries:: I liked my Ash hat! Maybe I can find a new one on Ebay...
Ooh, and Mo says the next Mirage of Blaze DVD and volume of Scryed manga have arrived. I get them tonight! Yay! And I get to see more Detective Boy Conan and Last Exile, so I am muchly excited. SO need a break, but then there's Astrodynamics due on Tuesday. Agh. I wonder if I can't make my thesis my other class this semester, and drop Astro. I mean, it's not HARD mentally, just hard manipulatively (is that a word?) as in it's all geometrical and stuff and I'm not sure I can keep up. O.O
I think that's about it... Guess I'll go now and EAT because I am HUNGRY. Ja ne!

Oh, in case anyone cares, I made a happy cute little Nightcrawler skin. ^^; Just right-click on the link and save the ZIP file, but then you have to create a folder in your skins directory and unzip the file into it. Gomen, my skinner is stupid. ><;
