ad_exiaWell.... it's not as bad as Yu-Gi-Oh. In fact, it's quite watchable. They *don't* sound like they're pushing 30 (like poor Yugi!) although they turned Bokuto no Ryu into the Spanish-accented "Rio." O.o And really, what's so wrong with the name Manta that you have to rename him "Mortimer" and then take out the cute Mantanian Dictionary pun and make him read ghost stories? Poor, poor Manta. ^^;;
So yeah. New theme's actually pretty catchy; they spliced together footage from the first and second openings (there's some Horo Horo! Yay!) and like I said, song's not too bad. It's rather *not* cheesy. ^^ It's also not like 20 seconds long - it's a decently long theme, which I think is cool.
Oh, but they can't pronounce "Amidamaru." Poor man, de gozaru yo. And Lord knows what they're gonna do when Mr. Pissy-Ass Tao Ren shows up. It does say "Shonen Jump's Shaman King," so maybe they've got *some* control over what 4Kids does to it.
But yes, I think it rather gets a thumbs-up, because it's a much better dub than Yu-Gi-Oh and it's not on as early as BTTF. ^^; 10's not bad, considering I was woken up this morning at 9:30 when they decided to use large equipment to cut down the tree in front of my dorm. O.o Thanks a lot...
