ad_exiaWell. The gods of cosplay are with me - I found *the* CLAMP school uniform shirt at garment district, along with the *last* black tie. Yay! Also picked up gauze (easier to wrap my arms in than medical tape, ouch!) and an ACE bandage. I figure since I like to cosplay boys so much, it'll be worth it. ;) Tried it all on, Subaru (erm... Subaru/Kamui) wig and all, and I'm still too curvy and not angsty enough, but maybe if I travel with the large X group someone will figure out I'm supposed to be Shirou-kun. ^^;; At least the bandages are fun...
Found out that my Kazuma jacket could use a little touching up, so I spent most of the evening doing that. Ugh, stupid lapels, but it's DONE and I fixed the shirt (cut off the sleeve properly so I won't have to just roll it) and all so all I need now is a wig. Maybe tomorrow, 'cause there's that wig shop down by Fenway, and I'm headed in that direction to meet up with Skuld and Yang for dim sum before the 2 o'clock Sasuga trip. And I was thinking maybe I should do Kazuma on Sunday, in case I want to do the lines on his arm. I'd need to do that in marker like last time, I think...
We finished Slayers Next in club last night, good ending to this season, although there was a massive shoujo bubble overload for about three seconds. ^^;; And Amelia wants to be a bride. Scratch cosplaying *her*. (eheh) But Zel was carrying her, and was all worried about her.... Ahhhhhh...
I had this really weird dream last night about Kiba (from Wolf's Rain); I don't really remember what it was about, other than involving Kiba. Ah well. We like Kiba.
Over halfway done with Figure 17 now... Although it *looked* like it ended, halfway through, at least the plot involving the alien monsters part, it most certainly wasn't done. Not *too* too impressed with the fighting scenes, but ah well, what can you do? The character stuff is good, but I SWEAR it's so like CCS meets Gawl that it makes my head spin. O.o
Okay, time to go, guess I will watch more F17 to get it done so I can review it! Ja ne!
