Naruto and Sasuke hit the Boston Commons

ad_exiaYesterday was an interesting day. For the sheer heck of it, Skuld and I departed from Fenway House to wander in the direction of the Commons dressed as Naruto and Sasuke. Hee~ We got some weird looks, but I don't think anyone recognized us - at least, no one that was willing to admit it to us. We sat around the commons for a while, then decided that since neither of us had seen Pirates of the Caribbean, we were going to go see it! Dressed up as Naruto and Sasuke. ^^
We *did* get asked if we were aliens... (No! We're NINJAS! Dolt!) and there were these people in the theater two rows down from us that kept on staring at us, and that was kinda weird... O.o But hey, the movie was *great* (highly recommended, go see it!) and then we wandered back towards Fenway House for food because we were both starving by then. And just as we were complaining that Boston needed more fangirls, we passed this guy who looked EXACTLY like Heero Yuy. And cracked up on the spot. I mean, the green tank top, the black shorts (though not spandex, and thankfully not spandex), the tan shoes, the brown hair... It was great.
Yang made something that was wonderfully yummy involving corn and fish, and Naruto and Sasuke heated up leftovers and made a very interesting smoothie concoction. ^^;; Then I headed home and promptly fell asleep at 9:30. O_O Sheesh. Jennie called though, so I talked to her for a bit, and now we have an Asuma! Apparently Mike will be Asuma-sensei. O.o He was Gendo at Anime Central, so I guess he's got the beard-thing to pull it off. Neat! Gotta tell Skuld; she's supposed to come over a bit later to work on Legato. And if I *can* go to Shoujocon, I'd better get my act together and work on Kamui...
Okay, I think I'll clean and get random things done before Skuld calls. ^^ Ja ne!
