But anyway... went out for ramen last night with Alex and Skuld. Was much fun. ^^ I haven't seen Alex in a while, so that was great! He paid for my food (he gets a magical butt bag now) and he also bought us these REALLY yummy pastries with cream and red bean paste... YUM. AND he gave me a ride home! What an awesome kid. ::grins and bows before Alex::
Came home and talked to Jennie... turns out her - our - Shikamaru is Justin Berry: *Mike Berry's* little brother! O.o And both of them are coming to the con!! Dude. Haven't seen Mike in so long, I'll have to hang out with him! I don't think I've seen him... since freshman year of college, or something insane like that. SUCH a small world.
She's also done with the Fuuma Shuriken and it looks bad*ass*. Go Jennie!
Hey, it's my English version of Hikari. I'd wondered where I'd put this... ^^
What else... Watched Mirage of Blaze with Skuld two days ago while sewing; cheered the mandatory cheer during *that* scene of the opening, and felt bad for poor Naoe. She's almost done with Sasuke, and then we can Ninja in the Commons. Whee!
Finished By the Sword, been reading HP full-time now and am (obviously) addicted. I don't know about "onegai-ing" those twins if they have boils in places where the sun don't shine... *ahem* And I'm sorry George, but a demonstration involving projectile vomit is just... not all that sexy. ^^;; But GOD, was I *so* mad at that Umbridge woman for kicking them off the team. Gr. And poor Mr. Weasley... and Mrs. Weasley for chewing him out for trying stitches... ^^;;
Anyways. Must read more. That's what lunch breaks are for. ^^
And I swear I had more to say... I had this weird dream that I was Harry last night, and that there was this book that was evil - I could tell it was evil, like I could see this green aura around it and stuff. And Umbridge was *good*, and on our side, and it was weird. O.o
OH! I had IMPORTANT news! I GOT ON-CAMPUS GRAD HOUSING!!!!! In Green Hall, just a few doors down from Burton; it's an all-female dorm but I don't care, I have housing, no apartment-hunting (or high apartment rents) for me! ::dances:: I'm going to check on their pet policy... maybe grad dorms allow cats... ::hopes:: Oh, and what this also means is that if it doesn't conflict with orientation, I can go to Shoujocon! Whee! 'Course, this means I have to make a Kamui costume... Maybe he'll just lend me all his clothes again... ^^;;
Okay. I should get going now. Maybe more later, I still feel like I'm forgetting something but I have no clue. Meh. So ja!
