ad_exiaI feel like I should update... I mean, it's been a kind of strange/eventful two days, so that's usually journal-worthy. And I had some stuff to do earlier but I'm back to entering little l's...
It's raining. Ugh. I HATE RAIN. I don't know why, but I'm betting that it has something to do with the fact that it gets me soaked no matter what I wear and an umbrella just doesn't seem to make the slightest bit of difference. I even rolled up my pants, and they're still all soaked and I got in three hours ago.
But I *think* it's supposed to stop. We'll see. Um... aw heck, I don't know what order to do this in, maybe I should go by day...
Wednesday

Work, then I went to Subway on the way to Comicopia, since I was eventually headed to Berklee to help Dean with his final project. So I walk up to Comicopia, and Yin was leaving, and she told me that Peter David was there. Huh. I'd actually already met him, at that thing with him and Neil Gaiman and Harlan Ellison a few years ago, but that was still cool. Got Spidey and Fantastic Four, because they've got WAID AND WEIRINGO on it! I had to get it, that's like... perfection!
Stopped at Virgin, then headed to Berklee to help out with said final project, which was re-dubbing an episode of Digi Charat. I was Puchiko nyu. It was fun; Marleigh was Rabi en Rose, and David was Genma (he's a *great* Genma); Leah was supposed to be Dejiko, but she didn't make it. Hopefully Dean can grab her sometime. ^^ Then David and I walked back, and got a free ride from a taxi driver 'cause there was a train coming near that storage building but the lights weren't going, so David jumped out to stop people. I thought that taxi driver was awfully nice to offer us a ride home!
I had planned to finish Anna's dress, but other things came up so I didn't get it done.
Thursday

Work (duh), then headed to Pearl for necklace supplies and snaps for bags. I bought all the 20mm beads they had, but I think it'll be *just* enough (I strung them up and it's a *tad* short for my tastes, but it's no big deal at all). Nigel showed up to grab his laundry, then he had to head out 'cause he was taking the train home.
Then I FINISHED Anna's dress, and it FITS, and I am happy. AND I can get it on and off (that was a slight worry since it's pretty fitted and my black fabric was not stretchy). So then I painted the snaps and the beads for the necklace... ugh, that took a while. ^^;; And it was only the first coat; I think they're gonna need another coat, but I'll probably wait 'till this weekend 'cause if Skuld comes over, I'll at least have someone to talk to while I paint.
So now I just need to go to Winmil for more blue canvas, metal things for the bags, and a tassle for Anna's necklace since Pearl didn't have just a plain red one. And I need to do Naru-chan's shoes, and I need to do Jen's other bag 'cause I know she needs it. That shouldn't take too long. In general, I'm much happier that I have made the sewing machine subordinate. Like it should be.
And so. Things. Yeah. There's other stuff, not everyday stuff, but it's not really *my* stuff and I just don't feel like addressing any of it. Sorry... I guess I'd just been meaning to update, but it seemed wrong to just talk about this kind of stuff... but oh well. I obviously updated.
Oh, and I like Guster. More people should listen to them. Found my CD the other day.
