ad_exiaGee, it's 8:30. I didn't *mean* to watch three episodes of Mirage of Blaze... ^^;; I mean, I saw it already and all, too. Ah well. It's cool. And Naboe and Ougi are SO together. But then, that was never in question...
Got back to MA yesterday, long flight since I had a layover in Atlanta but the layover itself was actually less than an hour, so it wasn't bad at all. Spent the rest of my waking time moving boxes and stuff around so that there was floor space. So now there's a BIG pile of boxes next to the bed, but actual room on the floor so that's good. And I got my cell phone working this morning so now voicemail is operational and it should actually tell me when I'm roaming. So good. ^^
Went shopping at the Galleria, needed a new pair of shorts since mine went missing (and I only have like three pairs!) so I got some at Old Navy, along with two nifty t-shirts that were 2 for $9 and one is blue and red and looks Spider-man-ish, and the other is orange and blue and is obviously Naruto-ish. ^^ They had a green and grey one but it wasn't in my size! ;P And this following my walking in through Sears and seeing bright red and gold-striped polos. ^^ Gryffindor much?
Also got the next DBGT DVD, and X5 (finally!), and Mirage of Blaze! As if you couldn't tell that from above. ^^;; Then went to Burton-Conner to get my mail (had to search through a big bin, *so* disorganized but I found my Shonen Jump there!), then to Star for a few essentials like Easy Mac, tuna, ramen, and pop.
Oh yeah, by the way, the wedding was good. ^^ Amanda looked absolutely beautiful, and Chris was so happy. Really - I kept looking at him during the service and he just looked *so* happy. It was great. And the reception was fun, and there were lots of pix taken, so all the people dying to see me in a dress shouldn't be disappointed. Dave stopped by on Sunday night and gave me copies of his, so I might scan and post them later.
And they got to play Nothing Else Matters, so I know everything will be well. ^^ Speaking of, I kinda like the new album, although I know some people who don't. ::shrug:: I like everything, what can I say? ::rolls eyes::
AND... I won't talk about OotP, because I don't want to spoil anyone, but I got about 120 pages read yesterday and it is *good*. Darker, yes, but good. What I think so far (as spoiler-free as possible): we love Lupin, there's lots of Weasley twins, and Tonks is cool. Okay, done now. Prolly gonna read more later.
Interview with library people tomorrow at 11am, then I'm going to the COOP to renew my membership and buy a full-length mirror, because there isn't one here and I'd kinda like one. The small one over the sink is too far away and too small for the poor blind shinobi. ^^;; Oh, and I need a pitcher, I think, to make green tea in!
Okay, this is getting long, but that's what happens when I don't update for a long time. Other things to note before I go:
- The Superman ride at Great America is *cool* (even if we were so scared as we got on that Amanda uninvited us all to her wedding)
- Got cool Naruto stickers and a pencilboard from Mitsuwa, and a nifty bento box!
- Those ninja weapons Jennie's making are *cool*-looking. I bow to my sister's paper mache no jutsu.
Okay. I'm sure I had more, but I can't remember any of it. Ah well, happens a lot to me. ^^;; Ja ne!
