Robin and Rain

This really hasn't been my week. Really. It needs to get better soon. And I *don't* need to get *two* grad school rejections in one day. Ugh, it's enough to make me never want to check my mail again.
Done reading for my paper, I'm hoping I can churn out a rough draft by tonight, which I think is doable. Yay for short Romans beating off 6-ft Gauls. ::pictures Gawl sieging Rome b/c he's hungry::
Ugh, but anyway yesterday I just kind of went to bed at 4pm and got up at 8pm, and started the last bit of reading but then Sameer called and wanted to check out Food Anime Night rooms, so I went and checked out rooms with him and hung out in the AniClub office for a while because I so needed to *not* think about many things, and anime is always a welcome relief. Oh, and he told me about THE coolest DB shirt ever and I so totally need one now.
I got home and Stacie and Nigel had left me a card, they really are awesome people and I feel so bad that I've been treating everyone like crap lately just because my life sucks. I really shouldn't do that, it makes them feel bad, I'd imagine, and it makes me feel even worse. Thanks, you guys. I really appreciate it.
I'd grabbed the first two discs of GTO from the office, so I watched eps 3-4 before going to sleep. I had the weirdest dream, after I did finally go to bed at 4am. I had this dream that Robin, Amon, and I were an STNJ team, and we were going out to lunch with Stacie and Nigel. Only Robin had slept in, and Amon looked kind of like Snape, and we were all sitting around waiting for Robin and I felt really bad telling her we were all waiting for her.
So anyway, here I am for another 25 mins at work. Then home through the rain to work on my paper. At least I can put up my new Shaman King poster; Kowaru and Shinji are moving somewhere to make room for it.
Great quote of the day (After Ryu and Billy become lip-locked): "I wonder if he's going to become Ryu's new main spirit. I wonder if they can Hyoi Gattai..." I swear, you want shounen-ai, go watch some roaring shounen. It's all over.
Oh, and Naruto's Kakashi-sensei rocks.
