... though I really may disappear off the face of the Earth at times during this next month. We're down to... T-37 days and counting until the thesis is due. Got the already-reduced data and am looking at that, but there are still a few nights of MagIC data I have to reduce myself so as to put something new in there. ^^; Supposed to see Andy about getting that stuff tomorrow.

In the meantime, there's Anime Boston (and Jennie's visit!) coming up so I obviously won't be doing anything from April 7-11. And that next week, the 12th, I have two presentations, one of which is my "thesis defense" even though the thing won't be done yet. o.o;; Then there's the policy presentation (first of two) on the 21st.

At least the hurricane lab today wasn't hard. Went over to April's to get started on the policy pset but we're not sure if our template is correct so not too much got done. We can't use the toy model except for in the lab, so that's what we're going to do tomorrow. And I figure that even though I've been working all day, since I'm in a fairly productive mood I ought to just keep on working while I'm still motivated.

In other news, managed to ask Ann to order the third volume of Last Exile for me so I get it for $20. ^_^ Happy. Though I won't get it for another two weeks, I figure I won't have time to watch it anyway. I'm having a hard enough time getting work done while addicted to D.N. Angel, which I never finished watching way back when it was showing. Now I'm hooked, and it took all I had *not* to stay up and finish it last night (glad I didn't though, not with the Wednesday workload I have). Might squeak in another episode tonight, not sure. I actually WANT to read (parts of) the paper we're discussing in class tomorrow, so I figure I should do that since I'm actually inclined to do so. And then I want to fit trendlines to the data I have for my thesis...

... So obviously, this "break" to update has become somewhat long, and I should get going. One last thing, though - my clearfiles came today (yay!) and dude, in the FMA one, Ed DOES have donuts! So perhaps it IS the right blonde in a red coat after all. ^^;;

Heh, yes. Since I'm in "geosystems" and no one really knows what that means, it means they teach us whatever the hell they feel like in the earth, atmospheric, and planetary sciences. Looks like a lot of atmospheric guys didn't have anything to do this semester so they're teaching us lots of climate stuff. Ick, fluid physics. ><;; But this unit is actually kinda cool... so far. But right now we're just modeling them on computers, not *quite* thrilling. ^^;
