Whee, so I haven't updated in... forever, or darned close to it! Oops... ^^;; So! Here's an update, for anyone who actually reads this ^^, although I can't guarantee it'll be in any decent order...
Um, starting with our mini Xmas party last week, I guess... O_O Wow, was that last week already? Insane! So Jen, Amanda, Jennie, Amy, Chris, and I all got together and did our little gift exchange. And even Chris got to open something! Yeah for giving boys food, at least you know they'll like it. ^^ But it was awesome, dude, Jen and Amy got me THE WEASLEY TWINS! ::bounces:: I'm still excited, they're so cool! It's funny, they got me two Georges (hee) but I mean, come on, they're twins and the action figures are obviously the same so I just named one Fred and it's all good. ::grins:: Let's see, Jen also got me a little grey mousie (Yuki!), Amy got me Exile's Honor (which I've been *dying* to get and/or read!), Amanda got me a pretty Astronomy calendar and an address book (I *so* needed one of those), and Jennie gave me this *really* cool quidditch mobile that she made. It's SO cool! I'm just sad that I can't bring it back to school with me, but I'll definitely bring it to grad school, no matter where I'm going! I think that's everything, if I forgot something someone can smack me. ^^;;
I also went to Stacie's Christmas party, which was fun and I got to see a whole bunch of people that I haven't seen in a LONG time, like Hemant and Tom and Saqib and Alicia and peoples, so that was cool. Just sad I couldn't stay longer, but I was tired and had to get up in the morning. ^^;;
So... Saturday I went with Mom and Jan to the zoo, that was fun, I *love* the zoo in winter, and especially when it's all decorated for the holidays and all. The lights are awesome, and they even put little presents and stockings in some of the animal's habitats and all, so it's cute. ^^
At some point (I don't remember which day) I got dragged (okay, not *dragged* dragged) to a bar with Amanda, Chris, Jen, and Dave, which was okay but I was *insanely* tired for some weird reason so I was kind of sleepy most of the time. ^^;; But the diet Coke was free, and now I can say I've been to a bar. Yay... ::shrug:: Don't need to do that again anytime soon. But it wasn't so bad, really, I was just tired and when you don't drink, it's kind of... well, pointless, ne?
Umum... what else did I do... Mind going blank... well, Christmas Eve I spent a VERY long time writing out the book for Gramma Lee's present - I wanted to put my "Akujunkan" story down in a book and have Jennie illustrate it, only handwriting 30 computer-printed pages takes a LOT of time. O_O Whew. Church was okay, and we watched "A Christmas Story" and "Scrooge" and all, and then Christmas morning Dad went to get Gramma (since she didn't stay over, which was strange but worked out better for her) and I got to watch the end of "The Star of Christmas" on channel 11, which was cool because it was Veggie Tales! I got some good stuff for Christmas, lotsa HP stuff (guess I'm easy to shop for ^^) and an Enterprise calendar (wai!) and some nifty stuff from Jennie. And lots more stuff, but I don't feel like listing it all. ^^;; Then we watched The Ghost and the Darkness ('cause I had gotten it) and Enterprise, which I haven't seen in a LONG time!
And the next day Jen and I set out to start getting stuff for our Hogwarts uniforms. And grey pleated skirts (or plaid pleated skirts) are *impossible* to find and we're just going to make them. ^^;; But we found sweaters and painted some ties and got trim and I got dowels to make a wand. So all is good. ^^ I'm excited! And I have to start getting stuff for Sora, so I can work on it during Jan when I get back with Skuld. And Mom's making us scarves, we found *exactly* how to make the HP scarves and she doesn't mind doing it so that's really cool. ^^ Whee! Uh-oh, hope poor Nigel doesn't mind if Stacie gets a more official-looking one than him... ^^;; But Mom says she'll teach me and Jen how to make them, so that's cool, ne? Maybe I can sell them and make money! Heh...
Yeah, so Jen and I went to see LOTR with Stacie and her brother and his friend and their cousin yesterday, only Jen wasn't feeling too good so I was sad. :( But the movie was good (even if it does make fun of short people!) and afterwards Jen and Jennie and I went to Mitsuwa and Woodfield, and they decided I was a hobbit because I'm small and I eat a lot. ^^;; Oh well, I suppose that's not so bad, we small people are really very high-maintenance! I got a mini see-through SD: Kyo pencilboard and found the *cutest* things that I had to get for Skuld, so her previous present goes to my sister and I'm giving her what I got instead (which I won't list in case she's reading this) and I think she'll like them. I also got a movie magazine (in Japanese!) with lots of Harry Potter and LOTR stuff, so that's cool, and it came with posters which I have to make room for. And I still need to blow that picture of the Gryf quidditch team up for my ceiling... ^^;;
Okay, and I think that's it, at least for now, maybe more later! Whew! Ja ne!
