Look, it's a list of lots of HP peoples. Helpful!
Whee, so I'm at Dad's office manning the phones... no major disasters yet, but I had to look up some stuff for some people. No big deal.
Oh, yeah, and I should *update*. So Jen wants me to post in parallel with my blog... and I can do that. ^^ So look, I am! Go me! Let's start with.... Wednesday. So we went to go see LOTR - after much panicking because Nigel couldn't find his wallet and had gotten the tix on Fandango so we needed his credit card. We finally found it in the pants outside Stacie's door and headed out, did some random stuff on the way, and made it to the theater at about 8:50, way early for the 10pm show. Right?
But somehow... Nigel's card didn't have any tickets on it. We tried the machine, and then went up to the desk (rather worried by now) when it said there were no tickets to print out. The dude at the desk said there wasn't anything on it either, and took it back to the manager to have him check with the mainframe to see if there were tix somewhere else (at which point we were worried, we *knew* we should've printed out that confirmation form!). Well, the manager came out and said there was nothing on the card, but that if we came back at 9:30 (*their show was at 10:30, kinda sketched us out) he would walk us through. We were incredibly grateful, and headed out to the lobby to wait for Michelle, who was coming with us. So after much ado, including worry that we weren't going to get past the guys at the theater doors checking tickets (yeah for being lost in a large crowd) we got in and saw the movie. And all was well, even though I am very small. ^^
I liked it, I'm not sure if I liked the first or second one better, there were different aspects of each that I liked. Jen and I were talking last night and we decided that it's because this was most decidedly *the middle*. And it's hard to make something stand-alone that's the middle of something larger, but I think they did okay. I still liked it, it had some cool fighting and some AWESOME Legolas action and liked to make fun of short people! ^^;; But that's okay. And Merry and Pippin are coooooool. ^^
Uh, so yesterday Nigel and I got up to go to the airport, only he couldn't remember which airline he was on, and our cab driver nearly killed us and got lost, and the lines were INSANE. O_O But Nigel found his flight (called Stacie) and I made it through security with time to spare (but it *did* take me an hour an a half!) and I got home okay. Then I went with Stacie to see Gobble at RBHS, that was lots of fun! We haven't seen him in so long; Arena wasn't there but Baldermann was so we got to talk to both him and Gobble for about three hours, it was great. We had a really great time, and have convinced him to come visit us. Really. We even have that hillbilly picture of him and Arena that he has to come back and get! So there! ;P
Then Jen came over, and that was fun; we drove Jennie to Katie's 'cause she was spending the night and then came back and hung out and watched some AMVs and stuff. And we're better at RPing online, which is really... sad... somehow, but oh well. ^^;; Maybe we could do the sharing the keyboard thing... ::Considers:: You never know, I guess. Anyways, I do want to do some HP writing later but I have to do it when I'm at home 'cause that's where my stuff is. And now I'm working at the office and tonight is the little Christmas exchange with me and Jen and Jennie and Amanda (and Chris) and Amy. Should be fun! And then I'm going to Stacie's party, so that should also be fun. Yay!
And I'm hungry. ^^;; I even ate *breakfast*! There is no hope. Oh well.
