Before I go back under...
Mar. 15th, 2004 12:10 pmQuick update from work. I'm amazingly awake for it being a Monday and my not having gone to bed until 2:30. I even got up on time. o.O Imagine that!
Just got the paper cut from hell, though, on my right hand *right* at the base of my thumb. We'll see how long this band-aid will stay on.
So I didn't get much else done Saturday; shopping with Steph and then went home and just goofed off until our *power* went out - we must've been using too much or something, as we'd turned up our heater 'cause it was cold. The power was out in our main room, but the bathroom lights (and the rest of the dorm!) worked just fine. So that meant it was time for me to go to bed, obviously, but also meant I couldn't work on my homework because it was all on my computer.
Accidentally slept in on Sunday - woke up at 11:57 for the cosplay workshop at noon. o.o;; Fortunately Steph hadn't quite left yet, so she waited for me and helped me bring stuff over. We actually got people (yay!) and spent the whole day - and I do mean *whole* day - working on stuff. Yeah, we were there from noon to 1am. Of course, I went home somewhere in there and grabbed some movies so we could watch them while people worked. Treasure Planet and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which I had picked up at Newbury's sale used for, like $15. Yay! ^_^ Stacie, I think I will always think of you when I watch that movie because we had so much fun watching it together! And this time the electricity didn't die in the middle of it!
So yeah. Today's Monday, which means my class schedule sucks because I also have lab today. Plus there's an Anime Club meeting at 5, and I'm going over to April's after that to work on the pset. She actually got a lot of it done, and then Excel crashed. >< So we have to re-do it, but she and Shannon know how, which is rather reassuring. Much better than having it floating over my head and having absolutely NO IDEA how to do it.
I don't think the next three volumes of The Seventh Tower are going to get here before I leave for break. Oh well, guess I'll bring the rest of the Earthsea books with, they're small. I can read about Sparrowhawk instead of Tal and Milla.

"Darn it Jim, I'm an astrophysicist, not a doctor! Well, I am a doctor, but I'm not *that* kind of doctor. I have a doctorate, it's not the same thing. You can't help people with a doctorate, you just sit there are you're useless!"
XD
