ad_exiaMostly babbling to myself. I'm not sure if I'm trying to talk myself into or out of this.
Or trying to guess them, at least. >>; I'm hoping Amat is actually okay with a me apping a fandom like The Pacific - I mean, Leckie was actually a real guy and all, but it's still a TV show and I don't see why they would have much issue with it, but at least part of my reference info would be his actual Wikipedia entry. I think I should have all I need from the show by the time apps open again, and I'm... kind of probably going to go buy his book tomorrow or Wednesday. I actually spent part of the evening trying to figure out what his weapons compliment is. XD Wikipedia is mostly useful, but I have a feeling his book will be even better.
I also have a feeling I should not app him in the first place. But, well. >>; I don't know how he popped up and decided he wanted attention, but he did. The problem is, if I'm going to app a third character, then it originally would have been Topher, but... I dunno. Again. No one actually wants to hear me ramble about this. XD And while I think I'd love playing Topher, I think it would be... harder than playing Leckie? Which might actually be a lie, because Leckie sometimes surprises me with things he does. But I guess it'll be a good character exercise? Plus, he won't be breaking into Army captains' personal chests and taking moccasins on Atia, now will he? XD
... Just make sure he can get his cigarettes. Because all Marines are clearly addicted to those. >>
But hey! He could work for the newspaper~ He was a sports writer before he joined the Marines, it looks like. :D

Anyway, speaking of Amat. Kind of. In a roundabout way. AVATAR ON THE 22ND~ Though I imagine I won't get my copy for a few days past that, thanks Amazon. Ah well. Then I can screencap for more Jake icons! :D
