Cosplay Rambling, Mostly

ad_exiaWow. So I tried on the suit today...
AND IT FITS!! ::bouncebounce:: And I can move around in it! (Very important. Also of importance, I can move around in it without fear of something coming loose.)
Aside from a few things, like velcro placement in two spots, the main suit and the arms and legs are done. Yay!
Things left to do on Claus:
- Fix minor things (velcro, seams, etc.)
- Cut off arms of the brown suit below the elbows (it's hot otherwise, and no one will see it, and I have long gloves to boot)
- Attach collar (it's already made though)
- Put snaps on front (have to see how the harness fits to do that)
- Finish front buckle for harness and put it on (may recuit Steph for this)
- Get Steph to put the Silvana logo on the back of the harness ^^;; (I can't draw, and I REALLY can't draw straight lines.)
- Sew harness closed!
- Get a wig!! (got a good one bookmarked in an Ebay store, but I'm gonna hit Dorothy's tomorrow before ordering it)
... YAY! That's really not that much. I could do that in a few more days. XD And then I just gotta make Yahiko's top (prolly by AniBos), get Winry's bandana done because her top should be on its way, and get red hair dye-stuff.
... Why did I agree to wear a tube top in public? (Maybe it's because of the bribe of an Al plushie to luff and carry around...) Actually, I'm not that worried about it. I think I'm small enough so as to not cause problems. ^^;;; Though some situps and/or pushups might be in order...
Let's see... Otherwise, it was just your run-of-the-mill day; went to class and tried to stay awake. There were only three of us, and only two of us (Ryan and myself) that met Bill and Victoria for (free!) lunch to talk about theses. Then I came home and found that my LE OST and Kenshin had arrived! Wow, I was happy. ^_^ That was fast! Gonna stick it in the CD player and listen to it on the way to AniClub and such. Nevermind I had the mp3s, gotta support Last Exile in the US!!
Then I just constumed and stuff, and here I am with an almost-completed suit trying to make sure that I'll have Claus-hair. o.O;; I think so, I mean, I think I can cut the Ebay one without getting rid of the flare (maybe Claus will have slightly long hair ^^;;), and like I said I definitely need to check the shop here tomorrow and see what they have. They might have something better.
Still pokin' around for a snoopy cap. I think I may have to give up on goggles soon. -_-;; Ah well. Neither of those is actually worn with the suit (well, Tatiana and Alistia wore the snoopy caps for, like ONE shot in episode... 20-something) so I'm not too worried about them.
