ad_exiaI woke up rather late today, but I guess that's nothing new. Dad called and needed me to check something online, and it was good he called when he did because just as I got to the right webpage, boom! - my power went out. (Let it be said that there was a rather nasty thunderstorm going on, but conveniently Exia was running on battery power at the time.)
But then, since said power was out, there wasn't much to be done at home... so I got dressed and grabbed some Subway and ate it at Scott's while I kept his kitty company and watched an episode of Voyager. Then it was off to the other side of town (after another storm had come and gone and it was finally sunny again) to hit up Toys R Us for my Star Trek props because I still didn't have the phaser and communicator, and now that I've found the fabric for the uniform I might as well have all the props!
The shelf said they were $15 apiece, which was what I expected and had a gift card for this very purpose. But then I got up to the register and they were five. YES. Five dollars apiece! SCORE~ This made me very happy indeed. Now I can use the rest of that gift card to get one of the HP shirts I wanted, and everything works out! So yay~
... Except it's ALREADY SOLD OUT. WUT? dhaifehao Well. I guess that solves that problem. Grar. Anyone feel like checking their local Hot Topic store for me? D: (I already called mine, no luck.)
And now I am back home and, as you can guess, the power is once again functioning. And with the return of my power comes... hot water! Time for a shower. :D And then I shall fix all the flashing clocks.
