We are not stealthy.

First off, from

1) Astronomy is what I do! It's a really fascinating subject and there are a lot of different sub-fields and applications. You can do programming, theory, planets and geology, solar system and space science, stars, ISM, galaxies, black holes, cosmology, string theory... the list goes on and on! In particular I like planetary science, as in the study of our solar system, and AGN (active galactic nuclei, giant black holes in the centers of galaxies that are doing cool things). The cool thing is even if you start out with one topic, you can always switch to another. And the field is full of crazy people that make up songs and funny terms and apaprently like to drink a lot. (Seriously, a lot of astronomers are crazy heavy drinkers. >>; But then I think this may be true of most sciences? XD)
2) Disneyworld is awesome. XD I love it! Backtracking a bit, I'd really only been to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot once when I was about eight before I moved to Florida in 2004. And then I realized, hey, I'm two hours from one of the awesomest theme parks ever! Besides, I'm a huge Disney nerd, which I'm sure most of you have picked up. :D; I've been to all four parks now (and I'm totally trying out their water parks this summer!) and I love how they have events like the Food & Wine Festival, the Halloween Party, and Star Wars Weekends (which I will miss this year, sadly ;_;). I have to say, being a Florida resident really gets you some awesome deals, which is honestly most of the reason I'm able to go so often. And next year I'm going to run a half-marathon there! Disney really does have everything. XD
3) Cosplay is something I've been doing for... around six or seven years now, depending on how you count it. I believe the first time ever was for Shoujocon 2002 - Skuld and Destra and I got this wacky idea to do FFX characters, even though we'd never sewn anything before. I had to call my mom and ask her how to thread a sewing machine. XD And we made those costumes in a week or two, at most. It was crazy! But ever since then, I have loved cosplay! I really love making things and dressing up as characters I like and running around in their clothes. I've also met some really good friends through cosplay events, so it's even good for networking! (Though I do admit there can be a lot of drama associated with it, but thankfully I'm so under everyone's radar that it's never involved me.)
4) Shoujocon was the first anime con I went to, ever! It was crazy, we rented a van and I drove a whole bunch of people there from Boston. XD I've only been twice, but met some awesome people through Skuld there, namely Amberlee and

5) Star Trek: Voyager - Ah, Voyager. I like Voyager, and I don't care if nobody else does (though I know at least a few people who do!). I mean, it's not my favorite (I think that'd be TNG), but I really enjoyed watching it. Actually, back when it first aired, I watched it when it was coming out probably for a season or two, but then I went to college and I didn't have a TV or time to watch Star Trek. So I really hadn't seen most of it until recently when Tyler bought all the DVDs and I borrowed them from him and watched all 7 seasons. I really liked the way the story flowed, and characters I hadn't liked when I watched it in high school I totally liked the second time around (though that's true of most TV shows). I think my favorite character would have to be Harry Kim, though, and he's supposed to come to Dragon*Con this year so I am really excited!

1) Nico is my favorite character in the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. I don't really know why, but he just is. I love how he's belligerent and tries to be so independent. Plus he really is pretty badass, cosidering who his father is~ I realize now I may like him so much because I have that weird penchant for things about the Underworld and death and whatnot, but regardless of the reason, I love him all the same.
2) Life on Mars is an amazing British TV show. Diana and I watched it recently, and it just blew us away. The acting was superb and the stories were interesting and engaging and touching. We really, really cared about what happened to the characters, and wibbled right along with Sam whenever he wanted to go home. I admit a couple of things still don't add up completely, but overall the plot was sound and I was happy with the conclusion and like I said, it was some damn fine storytelling. I haven't watched the American version past bits of the pilot, but I'm afraid I'd be so biased by the amazingness of the British actors that it could never live up to my expectations.
3) Astronomy - see above! :D;
4) Cosplay - also overlaps, see above~
5) Witty entry titles - well, with regards to this, I think I just realized one day that I rarely ever titled my entries, and I decided that needed to change! But I figured that instead of just saying "What I did today!" or something, I would try to use witty quotes I'd heard or read or something. That's... really all the logic there was behind it? XD; I can't always come up with something, and I realize they're rarely ever related to the actual entry, but that's just the way things are~ :D
I think I am going to do NOTHING PRODUCTIVE for the rest of the night. Maybe I'll work on some fanfic. But first, off to see if Clone Wars and/or Ben 10 is new this week so I'll know to tape it!
