Because that's what I've been up to all week. ^^; Granted, that's what I'm up to on any given week, since it's essentially my JOB, but this week we had two big outreach events so that just makes things seem busier than usual. Yesterday was the transit of Mercury across the sun (which I have pictures from, but I left them at school so I'll post them when I get them!) and tonight was an outreach night at the museum so we could highlight the telescope we're building in the Canary Islands. I was supposed to help give some of the Starlab presentations, but since I'm STILL sick and I'm kind of losing my voice (that has never happened to me before and it's really, really weird o.O;) I mainly ran door and projector duty, as well as wandered a bit to see some of the booths and steal a Cosmology bookmark that claims "Most of the universe can't even be bothered to interact with you." Best. Bookmark. Evar. XD;

Right as everything was ending we managed to blow a fuse with the planetarium, though, and the thing practically collapsed on Vicki! But we saved her and, uh, hope the museum won't be too mad at us. :D; At least it held out 'till everyone else was out! Scott and I managed to leave and still make it in time for Samurai 7, so yay for that. Though now I've missed something like two weeks of School Rumble and am going into withdrawal! I need to download it and watch the ones I've missed! (Also, Lala is my hero. You know. Along with Heihachi. XD;) But yay for my weekly Daisy and Diana dose, brief though it was~ <3

And! I got a new less old computer yesterday! :D My dad ordered new computers for his office, so he sent me one of their old desktops to replace my sad little Pentium II 9GB hard drive computer from 1999. XD; This one's a Pentium IV and can gasp!handle Windows XP. XD; Very exciting~ Even if the keyboard has a tiny little backspace arrow instead of the nice big key I'm used to so I keep missing it. :D;

Uh, other than that, not too much going on. Been working all week on Fuu for Jennie - you wouldn't think something that simple would take so much WORK! But the obi is done and the main part of the robe is done and all I need to do now is applique the flower design on. Ha, ha, that's the hard part. :O I'll do my best, though!

Tomorrow the buses are observing Veterans Day so they're conveniently not running. <<; But all the parking restrictions are lifted so I'm just going to drive in, though this means I probably need to get in a bit earlier than I usually do. And I wanted to go to the gym but I bet it's gonna be closed, so maybe I'll just leave a little early and go running. At least I can (mostly) breathe again, even if I can't talk! We've decided I should just hold up signs like the panda in Ranma for the next three days so I'll be able to TALK properly when I go home. Might not be a bad idea. :D; I'd sleep all weekend but the department picnic is Saturday, so I have to make chicken casserole to bring tomorrow and spend most of my Saturday out (and the rest sewing, probably). Sunday and Monday are reserved for PACKING OMG. Because I lose at packing. Very much.

Okay, and now I'm sure you all wish you had never wondered what went on in my mundane little life, so I'll be going now. STAY HEALTHY!!
