Jan. 28th, 2005 11:05 pmRight, so about that quiz... >>;; We didn't have it Wednesday - he gave us homework - and then he gave us the pop quiz on THURSDAY. And I had all three questions right (except for a units mix-up in #1 - somehow I managed to make a density times a density still equal to a density >>) and then I erased my answer for #3 and changed it. ><*** I hate it when that happens.
Anyway. Switched my office hours so I can both go to the AGN lunch and meet with Vicki next Wednesday and get started on this second-year project thing. Valerie gave me her GOODS paper to read, but when I printed it out none of the figures printed out, so now I keep having to go back to the ps file to look at them. ::shrug:: Nothing much was going on today; we only had one class (Radio) and 2/3 of our office is sick with colds. I'm just hoping it's what I already had, so I can't possibly get it again! Oh, and then in Radio he gave us this PACKET of homework. @.@; It's only four questions, but I swear they comprise something like ten pages of stuff! Really it's because he copied lots of relevant stuff for us, but it looks pretty daunting nonetheless. I'm not really gonna start looking at it until after the ISM test on Thursday, though. Yeah. Really fearing that one. (No, that's not sarcasm. It scares me. More than Fred's tests last semester.)
Oh! But I COOKED today! I made chicken casserole!! ^_^ All by myself! (With the help of Stacie's recipie.)
The weekend looks to be not too eventful. It's kinda cold; not that bad but really windy so it seems worse than it is. Plus, it's the kind of windy where no matter what direction I was riding my bike in it seemed like I was riding against 30mph winds. I hate that kind of windy. >< Hopefully it'll be warmer/nicer on Sunday, which is when I think Jen and I are thinking of going to the RenFaire. I hear it's nothing *incredibly* special but still, it seems like it'd be kind of fun to go to. Other than that I have some reading, some sewing, and some grading I ought to get done. I put in a bid on this to use for the compass that Claus has that I never got around to making. Tomorrow I'm going to go out and see if I can't buy two more tubes of M&Ms minis, because they *so* look like the tube-things they have on their boots. Also ordered Enki's shoes to get that costume done and out of the way; the only other thing I have to do on it now is put some fray check on the headwrap.
And finally, I finished The Golden Compass and am now 50 pages into The Subtle Knife. This brings my reading for this year up to 0.064% of my height. [/Inui]
