I don't want to study
Jan. 26th, 2005 12:19 pmHrm... I wish I knew what kind of questions we were going to get on this stupid quiz. I mean, do we have to calculate things? Or just answer things in sentences? That makes a big difference!!
So in an effort to ignore studying for the moment, here I am updating again. >>; The rest of yesterday was, as can be expected, busy. Night lab went pretty well but we didn't get to see the comet because there was too much light pollution - that's what you get for having a football game going on in the direction of the comet. -_- Saturn was quite pretty, though! Especially in the 12" with a 9.5mm eyepiece. That's 320x magnification! ^_^ You could even see the Cassini division if you looked hard, so that was totally cool.
In other news, it looks like the Gainesville equivalent of RenFaire is going on for the next two weeks. Jen's going to be gone next week, so (I think) we're thinking of going this weekend. It's so weird to have RenFaire in... February. o.O** I was quite distressed because I thought I had nothing to wear, but I *did* find my green Legolas shirt and now I have a cobbled-together costume made up of the following:
- Green shirt my mom made me years ago for the midwest RenFaire
- Nifty boots that Jen gave me (also years ago)
- Enki's shirt
- Little Subaru's pants
- Tidus' belt
XD How's that for a RenFaire costume? I would like a headband too, so I'm thinking of making one out of extra black or something. I'm just sad I don't have a bow 'cause I used to be a little archer girl... though the costume shop has (plastic versions of) Legolas' bow... Hm... Mayhaps I shall go see how much it is. <<; That would rock.
Okay... I so had more things to say when I started, but they went away so I guess that's really about it. Oh, unless anyone knows how to make people have better dreams! Last week I had one about some guy trying to hunt me down and kill me; two days ago I had one that I was Cloud (from FF7 o.O) and gangsters were totally trying to kill me and Tifa; and last night I had one that my grandmother was dying, before waking up and falling back asleep to have dreams about guys chasing me around with guns. Not cool. ><** This is nothing new, either, so I would think that if it was related to stress in my actual life it would fluctuate or something, but no such luck. -_- I think I used to have non-evil dreams... once upon a time....
