Mm, Clone Wars preview~ I randomly turned on CN and hey look, it's Star Wars stuff! I didn't know they were doing a preview special, that was kind of cool. Now I totally can't wait for next Friday. :D Ahsoka FTW!

Suite Life on Deck was also pretty amusing; it's nice to see some episodes of Zack and Cody that I haven't seen six times before. XD And I think there's another new one tomorrow, woo~

All in all, a pretty good Friday. Spent most of it trying to get a pretty-looking plot for my proposal, but by 4:58 I finally had one, so yay? XD And it turns out I can use Hubble Archive images for the Elegance in Science Contest, so win! (Or, well, hopefully? :D;) Unfortunately the cluster I wanted to use wasn't the one with the most filters, but I'll just make due and see what the ones with lots of filters end up looking like.

Also! Before I forget to post it and it just sits on my desktop, have a meme. :D; I have a couple more in the lineup (I have no clue why I suddenly decided to do a TON of them D:) but I'll try to intersperse them with other stuff~

Pick the first line from your last twenty-five fanfics and see if you can find a pattern.

As a note, I just picked stuff in the order I posted it on [livejournal.com profile] exlibris_tenisu. One or two of them are older fics that I’d reposted, but they’re probably still valid, pattern-wise. ^^;

1. Sometimes Ahsoka Tano felt more like she had an older brother than a Jedi Master.

2. When I introduced Nico to my mom, you would have thought I’d introduced her to a half-drowned hungry kitten or something.

3. The trick was to blend in, Allelujah thought as he made his way down the street, nodding to people now and again, doing his best to look like he belonged.

4. Tieria almost walked right by the display – it was nothing special, of course, just a shop window full of televisions on a busy street in a busy city.

5. “It’s snowing!”

6. Lockon Stratos was in his element – the battlefield was laid out before him like a game board, crossfire arcing through the air like a curtain of nearly horizontal rain.

7. It hadn’t been their first fight, and it wouldn’t be their last.

8. Setsuna closed his eyes, breathing slowly, letting the salt air ruffle his hair and he could almost imagine Lockon’s hands, the way he’d place his fingers among the dark locks and tilt Setsuna’s head this way and that, looking for the perfect angle from which to cut.

9. Setsuna was dreaming again – he shifted in his sleep, brows knitting together and a soft, nearly inaudible whimper escaped his sleeping lips.

10. He dispatched two enemy units flanking him on both sides, standing his ground as explosions rocked the mobile suit from both sides.

11. Exia’s controls glowed softly, illuminating the cockpit with a warm glow in stark contrast to the cold exterior of the mobile suit as it hung in space.

12. Ryuuzaki Sakuno pulled away, her cheeks flushed and too warm, wishing her bangs were long enough to cover her face so she could hide it away from sight.

13. Setsuna stared at the boy standing on his doorstep, noting how the other’s face was contorted into a sort of embarrassed grin – a look he’d grown all too used to seeing on Saji Crossroad’s face.

14. Allelujah Haptism.

15. He hadn’t meant to.

16. The hangar was dimly lit and nearly silent; not even the sounds of the jungle evening outside penetrated the walls, and the only light there was came from the halogen lights strung all along the scaffolding along Dynames’ side.

17. “Make me forget.”

18. ”Don’t get the wrong idea!”

19. But Arren knew what it was that Ged meant to say, knew what it was that he felt, because the look in Ged’s eyes spoke to him in deeper and truer tones than his words.

20. Nicholas Sayre looked out the smoked glass window of the car, his eyes tracing up to the top of the hill they were now climbing in his uncle’s car, and his thoughts interrupted every so often by the noise from the engine as the driver shifted gears to keep them moving up the grade.

21. I sit here and stare at the rain as it pours down from a watercolor gray sky that stretches on past the horizon.

22. “Are you absolutely sure this is necessary, Doc?” Mal asked, trying to eye Simon over his shoulder, which was giving him a stiff neck and nothing but a good view of the brown, well-combed top of the doctor’s head.

23. Sometimes I think I might be willing to trade it all in – all of it – for just one normal freaking conversation with my dad.

24. Of all the places Simon Tam had ever thought he’d find himself, he couldn’t say that a secondhand clothing shop in one of the less-than-notable districts of Persephone would be one of them.

25. “No.”

... Uh. I guess the pattern would be that I either make them really long, or really short? Apparently I like dashes, but I knew that. XD So. There you have that.

EDIT: Also, apparently, welcome to post 1,000! :D I had no idea. XD [/random]
