Gah, why do the phase pistol/communicator sets have to be out of production? ;_; Damn, talk about hella hard to find. BUT I WANT ONE. Without having to drop $50. Don't make me do that. I don't have $50 to spend on Star Trek toys. ;_; ~~But if I'm going to make a costume...~~

Actually, speaking of phase pistols, I noticed the first kind-of-glaring error in the episode I watched yesterday. So there was this big alien-thing trying to assimilate some of the crew. And the following conversation took place:

T'POL: We need to neutralize it, quickly. You said phase pistols had no effect?
REED: None that I could tell.
T'POL: Then I suggest you find a method that does.
PHLOX: If I may, the organism is highly photo-sensitive. A sustained burst of EM radiation might be enough to stun the creature.
T'POL: Can you assemble some EM emitters?
REED: It'll take a few minutes.

... UM. GUYS. Aren't phase pistols, by definition, EM emitters? Maaaaaybe I'm wrong, but they're energy weapons, aren't they? That would, you know, indicate that they're some kind of collimated beam of, oh, I don't know. Electromagnetic radiation. ::dies:: Oh, writers, writers. XD Anyway. I laughed a bit. XD; ~~Also, I swear, Trip and Archer were SO on a date.~~

And then Danziger was in it today~ XD Woo, Clancy Brown! You rock. :D (Of course, I also love how Dean Stockwell had that beepy rectangular hand-display thing the other day. That was kind of awesome~) And seriously, I can't blame Trip if he never wants to go on another away mission ever again. He's gotten knocked up, nearly frozen and asphyxiated, AND had heat stroke all in the first season. That poor, poor man. XD ILU, Trip~ You'll get to Risa someday.
