Jan. 18th, 2004 01:00 pmAck. I can't get the Teen Titans theme song out of my head. Help! It's a strange mix of the English *and* Japanese version. O.O
Anyway. It's snowing here, not really a lot of snow though. Pretty light and flurry-like, and rather wet. Supposed to be 2-4 inches or something like that, nothing big. At least if it's snowing, that means it's at or around freezing, and not massively below. -10 is not a temperature I ever want to see again. -_-;;
I woke up at a decent hour today, too! Got up at 10 and headed to the Galleria to do some shopping, since Skuld-chan wanted me to cover her shift at work today (which is where I am now). That's actually good, because I can use the money. ^^ At the mall I just got some random stuff:
- CD-Rs (that WORK!)
- blank videotapes (for SK and TT and DBGT and whatnot)
- a white shirt for Yahiko (I could use a new one anyway, and it was $10 at Old Navy)
- 2 random happy boys' longsleeved shirts: Sears was having this massive sale, they were $7 apiece. I couldn't pass that up. Got a Spidey one and a DBZ one (yes, like I need another DBZ shirt...)
- heater fan! YAY! I will not freeze anymore! And it was only $12! Wohoo!
Right. Headed back and here I am. I really, really wanted to get the Abhorsen book, but it's still in hardcover and more than my Borders gift card. Gr. Well, I'm not done with Lirael anyway. And Abhorsen comes out in paperback Feb. 1st. I *think* I can wait that long... Oh, and Stacie, I really recommend Garth Nix's first book in this series, Sabriel. I think you'd like it.
I found B-chan's page all over again last night - looks like it's still up, even after having been moved a few times. I loved her page so much when I was really into DBZ. In fact, I still love it. Speaking of, the Trunks special is supposed to be on Cartoon Network this Friday; I may tape it. I mean, I don't mind DBZ in English, and I only have that one on a really old fansubbed tape somewhere. Might be interesting to see in in English. Plus, if CN is going to be showing DBGT, I might just stop getting the rest of the DVDs and start taping it. Might be a little cheaper. ^^;
In case anyone cares (or doesn't know), it looks like Cartoon Network is going to premiere Witch Hunter Robin on Feb. 16th at midnight (doesn't that make it the 17th? ^^;;). I think Wolf's Rain isn't supposed to come out until April or something. Oh, and they're going to be bringing the Shaman King games over! ::dances with joy:: The GBA one is supposed to be out late summer/early fall ::pokes Jen::, and the PS2 one not long after that. Mmmm, must buy SK PS2 game!!
Okay, that's it, really. D&D tonight, but no Charlie or Yang (who will be joining us soon). Ah well. We'll try not to let our paladin get killed while he's not there... Hee. ^^
