Randomy Randomness (sorry...)

"Hey! No fighting in the Danger Room!

... I mean no fighting each other. Well - you know what I mean!"

(Yes, Scott. We love you. You never fail to amuse.)

Um.... so let's see. Yes, I'm alive. Steph, I owe you a meme (which I will post one of these days, I promise).

University fees were due today. I'm supposed to get a tuition waiver, and am supposedly responsible for my own fees as a TA. However, Vicki was a nice and wonderful and awesome advisor and said she'd pay my fees for me. YAY. Of course, when I checked last night, I still owed the school $5,000. It wasn't until THIS MORNING that the stuff finally went through. o.o Talk about cutting it close, people. XP

Trip keeps... uh. Well, not dying. Except yes dying - it's stupid MultiDrizzle, it just... hates me. Even with TWO GIG of ram. IT DIES. Ahhhhhh. ::beats it:: Actually, I don't think it's the memory that's an issue. I think it's stupid PyRAF. >>;

Also, I should stop buying books. It's bad for my income. But 30% off coupons! (Thanks Steph!) There's another Wizardry book. Which came home with me. Eheh. Except I haven't read the last new one yet. I've got such a backup. I suck. Valiant is really very good, though, despite a slightly slow start, and I have a feeling that I'll be finishing that one up really quickly.

And! CN is showing Code Lyoko again. YAY. Except I keep expecting the theme song to be in French. It's weird. ^^; But they're showing eps I haven't seen, which is happy. No more crappy realplayer quality eps. Though watching it in French was kind of fun.

Sunday is Lilo & Stitch! Anyone in Gainesville (that I know) that wants to come, 3pm, my apartment, for Disney movie goodness (along with some Astronomy grads, but they're nice, I promise.)

Also, as a note: went to the UF Anime Club with Diana last night. Alli was there, but aside from her I didn't know anyone. There were maybe... 40 people? Definitely not as organized as I'm used to an anime club being, but I pretty much enjoyed myself nonetheless (though that could just be because Diana and I got to talk!). There's definitely no one to "SHUSH!" people so there was always a low level of murmur, but it wasn't so bad as to be distracting, thankfully (and we probably contributed to it a bit, ourselves, and it's nice to be able to whisper without getting yelled at, as long as you're not obviously talking or being too distracting). The only thing we watched that I hadn't seen was episode 2 of Mezzo DSA and Mai HiME (though I did enjoy watching PLANETES 1-2 again), but... OMG. Yeah. Gotta be that girl in M-H with the sword that's bigger than she is. GOTTA. XDD Diana says she'll be Mai~ And the Paper Sisters (at least two of them) are going to happen (plus possibly Yomiko if Jen wants to), so that is also cool. I think I might work on (gasp!!) girls next. o.O Or at least Anita.

Maybe I had more to say... don't remember. If so, I guess I'll... post again. ^^;

Well, you live and go to UF, so you can always check out library books... Of course, they probably don't have the sort of new stuff you might want, but if you're into old stuff (including SF) I've found university libraries are the best, often having hard to find and out of print books.

I still haven't seen Mai HiME. I hear it has shoujo-ai, though. Maybe I'll read the manga...

Yeah, true. It seems, these days, that I'm more prone to read the fantasy stuff in the young adults' section, though. But maybe I really should go check out this library place. I hear you don't have to pay, heh. ^_^

Yes. You would like Mai HiME. Without a doubt. I can host it for you if you want.
