Eh, slept today until 2:30. Proved that if someone (or an alarm clock) does not wake me up, I just *don't* wake up. Had some really weird dreams, as often happens when I sleep in. First the orange cat (Maverick or Spike, he has many names and must be confused ^^;;) turned into a very tall, purple-haired Rock Lee. Then April and Shannon got married again, only April had on a pink business suit and had dyed her hair pink. o.O Suspect this came out of watching Legally Blonde 2 with Jen and her mom last night...
Yes, so... Uh... Chris was very sick on Christmas, so he and Amanda just stayed in Rantoul and came up the next evening. Jen and I had been attempting to dye my suit when they showed up (didn't really take, so I'm going for dark blue to wash out the brown this time instead of straight gray, but I have no salt yet). Played Trivial Pursuit, which Jen had gotten for Amanda, and ate pizza. I'm just... not big on games. They bore me, and I don't know why. I don't think they're fun. -_-;; I feel bad because other people want to play board games, but I just... don't.
Spent the night at Jen's (all of us) and watched the extras on X2. Spent the next day (yesterday) hanging out with Jen and her mom. We went to Applebee's, then around to a bunch of random stores to return things and shop. Jen cashed in all her Best Buy gift cards and got a Game Boy Advance SP. Looks nifty. ^^ Got the navy blue dye for my suit, but like I said, I don't have any salt and that's recommended for the dye bath so I'm going to wait. I have to go to the post office tomorrow so I'll probably just sneak over to the grocery store and get some salt while I'm at it. At least I've got the arm covers done, and am also almost done with the collar. Whee.
Hopefully I'll get to see Jen tonight before she has to leave again. ><; At least I'll get to go visit her for spring break. My parents haven't told me I can't go, so I'm just going to go ahead and do it. ^^; Gotta look into tickets soon, but I wish Anime Express'd post their dates before I do. Ah well. It'll work out.
Okay, time to go. Gonna read more or something. Oh, and I have to deal with Janet's rec letters today. Must mail them tomorrow (hence the post office-going). Too bad the Institute is CLOSED until Jan. 4th. Better tell whoever's got an application due on the 1st that they won't be getting my transcript on time... -_-;;
