Um... Stuff
Dec. 19th, 2004 11:43 pmWell, it certainly feels more like winter, at least. It's 7 degrees outside and we went to the Zoo for the holiday thing they put on. I actually kind of missed the cold, though maybe you should try asking me that again in a week or two.
Spent yesterday at Stacie's, which was fun (though now I feel bad for taking the car all day and inconveniencing Jennie). Her party was cool; I met lots of cool people (old and new) and spent the evening talking to them and eating all her yummy food. Talked to Hemant and Tom (Jen, Tom says hi BTW) and Frank and Jason (Swanson) and some other people, and it was pretty fun. Stopped off to see the Sheahans this morning before heading home and, as I mentioned above, to the zoo.
You know, that's the thing about Christmas. Everyone is shoving all these chocolates and cookies and cakes and pies and ice cream at me... and I really don't want them. A little bit, maybe, but... I don't know. I spend most of the Christmas season feeling icky because I never eat any of that stuff and when it all gets shoved in my face I feel bad not eating it because people will be offended, so I do and spend the rest of the day feeling sick. Though, by the way, this does NOT apply to Stacie's food, because she was awesome and had lots of healthy non-cookie-type snacks as well (I would've eaten all the peppers if she'd let me).
Six more episodes of SEED. And I highly, highly recommend the Lemony Snicket movie, and really, not only because Klaus is adorable and looks like Claus and he likes books!! ^^; No, really, it's a very visually stunning movie and I must read those books SO right now OMG.
I hate being home, really, for the most part. And I miss my cat.
