Just some random lj-ing
Apr. 15th, 2004 01:31 pmHm. I feel like I should be doing something, but I actually don't have much to do at the moment. Guess I'm just confused, since I've been working like hell ever since the beginning of the week -
... OMG, I see SUNLIGHT!!!!
Okay, back to your regularly-scheduled lj-ing. (It's been raining since Monday, sunlight is so welcome, sorry.) *Anyway*, I have to meet my policy group in lab later to do some model runs (ick ick ick), so I guess goofing off now is okay. I definitely hope to get in to try flattening those 2001 images for my thesis tonight or tomorrow. Maybe tonight, if I feel like it on the way home from lab, though I probably won't. I definitely want to have them done by the end of the (long!!) weekend, though. I actually have to start WRITING soon. @_@
So instead of working my ass off this afternoon at work, I've been reading The Farthest Shore, which thus far is my favorite out of the Earthsea books, I think. I gotta get a copy of this for myself (I'm borrowing Lisa's because she is cool). Is it just me, or are Arren and Sparrowhawk not completely adorable? I think the slashy fangirl in me is just seeing things, but I love Arren and it's so cute how much he likes Ged. ^^;
Uhm... yeah. So I'm officially registered at UF now. I can't believe I'm moving to Florida in... three months. It just... doesn't process, you know? Even though it's been on my mind since they accepted me. I actually looked up a map of the state today and figure out *where* Gainesville is, too. Heh. I should write Anne and see what she's been up to, if we're going to live in the same town. I hear she has an erg... >>;
Wow. I think I'm going to go running today. I have an hour between work and lab, 'cause Kelly couldn't meet until 4:30. Whoo for physical activity, I *so* need some.
Whoops, mail just came in, time to process books. Ja~!
