So! This weekend was Megacon, woo~
Friday I headed down to Orlando (with the rest of the world, apparently - there was quite a bit of traffic!) and met up with Diana, Karen, and co. at the hotel. Diana and I went out to lunch (Uno's, yum~) before walking over (in the misty rain D:) to pick up our wristbands for Saturday and hang out at the convention center a bit and discuss Dragon*Con plans. XD Then we walked over to the theater nearby to see Percy Jackson (Diana hadn't seen it!) - it started raining hard about a block from the theater and we got totally soaked, but at least we mostly dried off during the movie. >>;
Saturday we met up in the morning with Scott and Duy, and there was the usual con-going activities. They were dressed from Star Wars and Star Trek (respectively), so it was kind of amusing because people wanted their picture together, since they're not supposed to get along and all that. XD I was entertained, at any rate! We got to meet Levar Burton (eee~) and I got my requisite cute shirt from the BeKyoot booth (I love their stuff!). Mostly we either sat and talked or wandered the dealers' room, as one does at such things. :D
BUT I know if you clicked this, you probably want to see pictures, so here you go:
Ghostbusters car! :D

That guy! General Grievous ::waves arms::

Diana's EPIC costume - OMG DON'T BLINK. D:

Duy had on the appropriate shirt under his Starfleet uniform.

Trudy knows how to take care of scary angel statues. ;D

OMG I found a Na'vi! XD

We also found this nifty tree sculpture for a few pix:

My TNG Companion is slowly but surely getting filled with autographs~ :D; I'm still sad I missed Gates McFadden and Michael Dorn at D*C, but I'll catch them eventually, I'm sure!

Today I had nothing to do (so glorious~); I went to the grocery store but mostly bummed around, wrote a bit and watched this movie Mom lent me so that I could mail it back and let her get something else from her Netflix queue. XD Tomorrow I think we're starting up True Blood - that should be... interesting.
And now I gotta go throw my laundry in the dryer. ::zooms!::
