Are they normally like this, or does the insanity escalate on Wednesdays?
I still have to finish off the seams and hem the skirt, but I figured I'd take some pictures anyway.
First off, a few in-progress pix of the seams because I was kind of proud of them. :D;

And the inside - basically each side got hemmed with the piping and then sewn to half of the bias tape, which keeps it together.

I know the boots are more original series than movie, but they were six dollars at Goodwill. They'll just have to do. XD;

OMG, the communicator beeps when you open it. I don't know why, but that made me so stupidly excited. XDD
Currently the badge is cut out of roofing tin; I know it's not quite movie-accurate but I may see what I can do before D*C. I could make it out of foam, which would make the detail easier, but I like the look of the actual metal better. Maybe I'll test paint some foam though to see how it looks...

And look, I even put in the "OMG WHERE DOES THAT SEAM COME FROM?" seam on the top of the sleeve. XD I ended up extending it into the piping of the collar even though I know it's not supposed to go that high, since I needed to take the collar in a little. It bugs me, but I can't seam rip it so it's just going to have to stay.

Also costuming-related, I Model Magic'd the triangles on Ahsoka's headtails (I should take pictures) and velcro'd up the bootcovers, and put the second coat of paint on the buckles. OMG, this costume may actually get done on time. o.o; Also, toaster and gun for Lewis' hat, GET! (Ahaha, I so had to exert massive willpower at Toys R Us because THEY HAVE SECRET SATURDAYS TOYS. Waaaaaaaaaant~
Still lots to do, but it's actually getting done! Though I think I'm going to spend the last bit of time I have before bed working on PJO stuff. Still plenty left to copy out of the notebook from Rio! I really should be working on Ben 10 stuff, but I'm holding out for an extension on that. Otherwise I'll do it this weekend. Really!
