Riker, stop captaining Data!
Mar. 26th, 2009 11:46 amSo, I am alone in my office today. (Actually, I think Peter's gone for a while, and Scott is at least in town, if not in here in now!) This, of course, means that I feel no shame in taking a small break to LJ. XD (Because apparently it's a verb now!)
First off, I would like to complain briefly about CIAO. ( (So everyone can pretty much skip this paragraph. :D) ) I feel like I should email the helpdesk and check on this, but it would be something like the fourth time I've emailed them. They're probably really sick of me by now. :x
Last night was the first NGN in a while; very enjoyable, considering we got to watch the episode with the genderless society where the alien decides to go ahead and fall for Riker. XD (I suppose, in her defense, at least she was already female and Riker didn't turn her female, because think of how awful that would be! XD) Current plans include going to see Race to Witch Mountain this weekend, and I also think we're going to watch Tropic Thunder sometime next week, which is cool with me since the guy who's supposed to play Grover in The Lightning Thief is in it. XD Now I'll get to see who he is!
Also, Diana called and left me a message yesterday that the Comedian in Watchmen isEdward Marcase John Winchester Jeffrey Dean Morgan. HOW DID I NOT RECOGNIZE HIM? D: OMG I love him so much! Though I'll bet I'm the only person I know who loved the Burning Zone quite so much~ Now I'm picturing Marcase with a cigar and a bazooka going, "Take that, Ebola virus!" It's kind of hilarious. XD
And to wrap things up with the wold of Cartoon Network, I was watching the season finale of Clone Wars and realized my tape ran out halfway through. Ahahaha OOPS. XD WHAT WILL HAPPEN? (Then again, we should all know what happens when Anakin is stupid. XD) Good thing I also torrented it; I guess I'll watch the second half tonight. XD Along with last night's Ben 10 episode, because I think it might involve Verdona? Which would be good, because she's in the latest chapter of my fic and OMG is she hard to write. o.o; Actually, I keep re-writing this chapter as is, because I'm still not entirely sure what should happen. I mean, I've got my handwavy solution to their major problem, but the problem is, it's handwavy. And, I mean, Ben 10 genetics have always been handwavy, because it's Ben 10, so it probably shouldn't matter in the end. Besides, otherwise I've kind of written myself into a corner and Verdona needs to be a deus ex machina, which is not cool. So I keep thinking I'm going to stick with my original plan, even if it is kind of... weird, somehow. Um. ANYWAY. No one probably cares about that, so I will continue to suffer in silence~ XD
Okay that's it for real. Now if I can just make it another hour 'till lunch!
