Wow, 3:40 already - when did that happen? :O Only one more hour and a half-ish and I can go running~!
I suppose I don't have too much to say, but I'm waiting on MD at the moment so I can't do too much else that's terribly computation-intensive or Trip might die. XD; I swear, tomorrow I really am going to start in on the X-ray analysis. For real. I think I've been saying that for a week - "I'll start the X-ray analysis tomorrow for real!" - but so far it hasn't happened yet, and I don't care if it should be quick, it needs to get done. I also need to finish my abstract for that conference - just because I got an extension on it doesn't mean I can forget about it all over again. :D;
I am also trying to find a configuration for my monitor, keyboard, and chair at work that does not kill my back or my front. See, normally I have to bend over to see my screen properly, which means my midsection is pressed into the edge of my desk and after a while it really hurts my front and my back. So I'm trying to figure out how to arrange things for optimal posture. This is harder than it should be, probably because I am blind and short and this desk and chair are not designed for someone the size of, say, RYOMA. XD
Actually, speaking of Ryoma, I have apparently addicted Elizabeth to Prince of Tennis. >D See, she's going to Japan in a couple of months for research and she wanted to learn Japanese, so I gave her my PoT 1-13 boxset to watch so she could listen to the language a bit (honestly, mostly because they're just talking abouttennis everyday life in it, and there's not so many crazy terms or anything). I warned her it was crack. And now apparently she's become addicted. XD Ahh, PoT. Destroying even the minds of astronomy postdocs~
And then today I found a whole bunch of new writing contests and I really want to write and I don't want to do astronomy today. XD ::fail:: And then I really want to write fanfic as well, which is in no way useful or constructive but I still want to write it~ Except I just know I'm going to get to the crazy important scene that sets EVERYTHING up in my PJO fic and then... I don't know what happens after that. XD I had this problem in my last PJO fic too. Alas~ Probably because it involves bad guys and evil plans and I have to come up with what the evil plan is. I have an idea, at least, but Nico is rather stubborn, and thankfully these days he seems to be stubbornly good. :D;
Okay, back to staring at MD. And praying that Tweakshifts decides to, um, work.
