Paris is on sale! (Interpret at will.)
Jan. 5th, 2009 11:29 amWoo, welcome to Monday!
Or something. >>; I'm sure no one has any sympathy for me at all, but it's my first day back at work and I'm totally trying to figure out what it is I should be doing. I think I'm going to abandon X-rays today and move into the realm of Infrared. Maybe that will make more sense. And maybe I'll actually get somewhere with it!
I have even created an alias already this morning for Leopard. [/unintelligible] Just know that it makes me feel not so dumb, that I remembered how to do it at all. :D;;
Okay, really I was just looking for an excuse to use my Spencer icon. XD; Well, that and avoid work for another five minutes.
Oh but first, in very random news, I read some article about these scientists testing ticks and their reaction to temperature. Apparently, in order to test how likely the insects were to bite humans, they put the ticks on their own arms. Uh. Guys, please don't be Mohinder. ;_; Is this common in biology or something? I guess in astronomy you can't really... test things on yourself. XD; Maybe I'm just really missing out, here.
That is all. Back to your Mondays~ <3
Is LJ running really slow for anyone else? Or is Trip just having a hard day? D:
