Almost there~! :D
Nov. 16th, 2006 06:08 pmSo! Now I'm in Chicago (until tomorrow morning XD;) and it's been good so far~ Stacie picked me up from the airport and I got to see her lab before we made dinner (chicken parmesan, yum!) and I introduced her to Firefly while we ate and decorated her new house for Christmas~ We slept in yesterday morning and had a late breakfast of yummy things and watched more Firefly before spending the day out shopping, which was also fun~ YAY Ethel's chocolate lounge, which serves the best hot chocolate on the planet. ._.We spent an hour with small children for her JBQ group, then got dinner and then I finally got to see my house. XD; But it was a good day~ ^_^ She got me an awesome shirt (Liberate Pluto!) and a nifty candle~ AND my MOM gave me an IOU "good for one Seigaku jacket in Japan." :DDDD She even printed out a picture of Ryoma. XD It was awesome, hee~! I didn't know she even paid attention whenever I mentioned Prince of Tennis!
And whew, today has definitely been a crazy day. @.@; Had to get up majorly early to help Mom with stuff like shortening her pants and printing out some pictures, and then we went over to Grandpa's new house to deal with taking out some of the old carpet. Then Jen got to come over (yay! :D I GOT AN ARMY OF CHIBIS >D <3 and happy birthday again~) and we hung out for a bit and got food and got to catch up with stuff, which was fun~ ^_^ And now it's about time to head out to dinner before frantically finishing our packing for tomorrow morning. :D;
Which, uh, leads me to my main point: I'm probably going to kind of drop of the face of the LJ planet (starting tomorrow morning) while I'm gone - I may get to check my flist a few times, but I'm not thinking I'm going to have TONS of time to read all of it every day. So, uh, in case anyone notices, I don't hate you all, I'm just out of the country. ^^;; I'll be back in about a week and a half. :D; Email should still be okay, if you need to talk to me, since I'm hoping to at least be able to check that every day-ish~
Everyone have a good week, and a good Thanksgiving (if you celebrate it :D;)! <3 I'm sure I'll inundate you with more pictures than you ever wanted to see when I get back. :D;
