Mar. 22nd, 2005 09:00 pmThe number of posts in my journal is directly proportional to the number of tests I have to study for times the number of computers I have on at the time divided by the number of breaks I've taken in the past hour...
=_= So tired. Am sure I will wake up sometime between midnight and 2am; though that wasn't the case yesterday when I got back from the observatory. Totally the first time in my life I went observing - successfully! - when it was cloudy and rainy. The hygrometer on my head (read: my hair) was most happy with the weather - so I was not happy with my hair. <<; Mayhaps growing it out so I can put it up - at least until I get Kira/Shinn done and need a haircut - isn't such a bad idea after all. -_-
The "field trip" was relatively fun, though, and I didn't have to drive because Justin2 offered to drive us all there in the dept. van. At least it saved me from studying. Which I really have been doing for at least a decent chunk of today - maybe three or four hours-ish, total, which isn't enough but isn't too bad, I guess. I've got almost the whole study sheet filled out, and as we get three pages of notes, front and back, I think maybe if I'm creative I can fit all that stuff onto them. >> And some fourier transforms/convolutions/cross-correlations/etc., because sometimes I forget what those are supposed to look like.
My books came today! Too bad I can't read them - I am thoroughly enmeshed, once *again*, in the trials and tribulations of one Herald-Mage Vanyel Ashkevron. You would think, really, that I could not read all three books over for the third or fourth time. But, obviously, you'd be wrong. ^^; Especially with a test coming up. I swear all I did this weekend was sit on the couch and read Magic's Pawn, and just when I'd finished Sunday night I made the mistake of picking Magic's Promise back up and it's been downhill from there. In fact, I am going to go read more right now, because I am totally not paying attenion to the Radio Astronomy book. Maybe I'll go back to my study sheet in an hour. After I've had some magic - and sugar. =_=
